Poe2 Couch co-op with two accounts.

Any updates on this topic by any chance ?
A friend of mine just bought the game, created a character, then came to my place to couch co-op with me, only to realize that he would have to go with characters from my account only (or a new one)
Did I miss anything ?

Damn what an actual SCAM, I watch the "Developer Diary: Redefining the Console Experience in Path of Exile 2" early today as I wanted to play with my wife on our Xbox and trevor says on the video "if you have a friend who's also fan of the game who has also an account, they can log in as a secondary player" but it turns out it is not true.

I have my account, and just bough my wife's EA too, but what a surprise the second player CANNOT actually log into their account, so it is just 1 account for both characters, either mine or hers, that's such a fuck up as we also look to play on PC but well. seems like this just kills couch co op, well done GGG.
