I already wrote in an other thread with the shipping price problem:
" I dont know how the Customs are in other Countrys in the EU but here in Germany they will likely calculate it like: Itemprice (if not declared 480$) + Shipping (again 80$) + duty (between 8 and 12 % for fabric items) + Taxes ( 19% ) So, in the most expensive case: (Itemprice+Shipping)*12%*19%=Totalprice (480$+80$)*1,12*1,19=746,368$ And i think, ggg is not doing anything about it because its the decision from their distributor to make those prices. so not their fault in their oppinion. You know what else is also funny? If you take smaller clothes the shipping fee goes down. With the 480$ Pack and the clothes in size "S" you have to pay "only" 30$ i think. And why ? Because smaller means less fabric means less weight, so shipping is cheaper ..... Realy ? whats the difference between "S" and "4XL" ? (ATTENTION IRONY!!!) 5 Kg ? The total shippment (shipping/tax/duty) for the actual Supporter Pack (2024 PoE2 EA) can go UP TO !! 266.37$ !! for Germany. Please GGG talk to your distributor and get some better deal! Tbh this is the only thing holding me back from buying the 480 pack. As soon as I saw the shipping prices I changed from 100% buying it to probably not even buying anything as I already will get a key from the threshold.

To me was 60-70 euro the shipping cost ( Germany ). I did it because this is my first time i joining in this universe and i want that items and really want support GGG. They deserve it. ( i know the shipping cost not for them )

" This is pretty much my concern as well. Except that to Hungary, VAT is 27% with import tax being similar, so when it comes to me ordering something for 500 bucks + another 70 for shipping, I'd want to know in advance what the package value indicated will be, so I can guesstimate the VAT and import tax on top. Otherwise, I'm looking at paying another 200 bucks of taxes on top of the already high price of something that - at this price point - should pretty much include free shipping. Let's not even talk about the difference between me ordering two pieces of M sized clothing, vs someone ordering two pieces of 2XL. The irony of it, I was going to impulse buy this, then I saw the shipping cost and started thinking.. GGG is really doing themselves a disservice here.
