Hard crashing PC locks up

"
Hey guys,
Therefore, try 23H2 !

tried, and it still freezes.
I was having these crashes constantly in certain maps/areas. Recently fixed but counter to what some others are suggesting in this post. I'll outline below what I did to fix it, unsure what step actually resolved it but it will give you some ideas.

I was originally using Windows10 22h2 and upgraded to Windows11 24h2. To do so I ended up having to meet reqs so I enabled TPM and secure boot in BIOS and updated from an old 2020 version to latest MSI 2024 version. I also re-partitioned my disk drives and re-installed PoE2 but to my C:/ instead of a secondary m.2 nvme. I've had no crashes since!
Yes, stop writing about multithreading settings, my PC locked when I pressed the "U" button to open the card, as you understand, I never saw the card.
To people that still suggest downgrading from 24H2, could you also help the people with with Linux? Which Windows version should they be downgrading to?

Non-Euclidean geometry is not my strong suit so I cannot calculate the distance from downgrading Windows 10 22H2 to Windows 11 23H2 on the fly, could you help a bit?

PS:
To anyone that has messaged me but did not receive a reply:

It is not because I'm stuck up or anything. It is because GGG forums does not allow players with low level characters to use private message function.

When we try to DM we get this message "You may only message the Support account at this time."

So I apologize for leaving you unanswered.

Yeah they're taking a vacation. Didn't bother to at least say they are still looking into this.

They both made an announcement in the discord and it's in the Known Issues megathread. Your personal incompetence, inability to read, and total failure to take even two seconds to check whether anything is being done isn't the fault of anyone other than you.

Mind to share a discord message maybe?

The known issues post is a blame shifting attempt that would have worked if not for these two threads. Seeing that post there actually lessens the very little trust we have left for GGG. On both threads we have explained that this is not a Windows 11 issue and that specifying it as is, is due to lacking knowledge of statistics.

On top of that, we saw reports from people that uploaded their DxDiags to a cloud/drive etc. that GGG did not access those files.

Since new players also cannot send DMs. Who did they get their dxdiags from? Did they even check those that were sent?

There are no bugs that are more important than this. This is not "I cannot use X skill bug". This is "improper usage of system APIs by the application" causing "100% CPU utilization" leading to a crash, resulting in "shortened component lifespan and possibly bricking PC".

There are people who have lost their PSUs, SSDs, GPUs, CPUs, Bluetooths, USBs... Any part that you can put in a PC, there is someone on the forum that have lost it due to this "bug".

They should have been communicating about this issue and should have put a warning, one that is pinned to the top, saying that "There is this issue. This can cause hardware damage. Do not play if you crashed. Sorry."

Would you stop being such a shill? jesus christ man.
The bootlicker does not understand that we need an update. It can stay on a list for months. No mention of this in their upcomming changes. Get a life.
