If you thinking about it, it is a Windows 11 update problem.
- Deinstall the latest 24H2 windows 11 update and for me that fixed the problem. And wait when there is a fix.
You didn't fix anything. It is not a Windows 11 problem, much less exclusive to 24H2. It happens on 23H2 and 22H2 all the same. Even Windows 10 is not safe, neither is Linux.
Weird than that the problem was fixed for me after i deinstalled the w11 update. Sadly, pc-hardware has allot of componenten. I dont no is this only on pc or have people on the consoles also this problem. Everyone that i know in real life has no problems at all include myself.

Many of got a new computer recently and you can't uninstall update, because it's already built in the newest WIN11 installation

I've had a few times where the system, and everything on all 3 monitors, was frozen.
By waiting a few minutes (real minutes not the it's not happening fast enough kind :) my system recovered without needing to power cycle.
I'm wondering if that is just me or if anyone else also experiences this.
Thanks,
this happened when i crashed for the first time
but every crash since i tried leaving the pc for a few minutes seeing if it would come back but never did

Honestly, the only thing that worked for me is that POEUncrasher on Github. I'll be stuck using that until GGG fixes this.

For Intel users (specifically 13th and 14th gen users) suffering from this issue, I have the solution for probably a large portion of us. The windows version is completely irrelevant. I learned this in the dumbest way possible. I had a lot of friends begging me to attempt to play marvel rivals with them, upon downloading the game a large notification came up on the launcher that informed 13th and 14th gen users that if they are unable to load the shaders without their game crashing, they should download Intel Extreme Tuning Utility and set the Performance Core Ratio down from 55 to either 53 or 52.
I originally ignored this, attempted to download the shaders, and the game crashed. Afterwards, I attempted one final time and my screen froze up exactly as it did after loading instances in POE 2 maps. I immediately downloaded the Intel tool, changed my performance core ratio to 52, and the game ran as smooth as butter. The next day, I figured I could try POE 2 again and boom. It's running perfectly smooth on max graphics. I have minimized, opened up other applications, and streamed the game without a single crash for the last two days.
I wish I understood more about computers because Path of Exile 2 absolutely melts your cpu whenever you are loading into new areas (albeit for maybe two seconds). Please if you are an Intel users try this and see if it works. You may have to reopen the tool every time you turn on your PC but once it is on, you should have no issues.
I thought the same thing too but I ran 3 games with shader pre-compile steps which hammered my old i9 13900k and gave me the infamous "out of video memory" error (Mortal Kombat 1, Marvel's Midnight Suns and Hogwarts Legacy) - all 3 compiled the shaders successfully without errors. The new RMA'd CPU has only run on the latest microcode fix. Event Viewer says something about kernelbase.dll being at fault, no idea what that means.
