At this point, if you have the time, you should join the livestream tomorrow and be sure to respectfully and repeatedly ask them when they're going to fix this MASSIVE issue.

" It should just work, but it doesn't. So I tried something new and it worked so far with minimal effort. Last edited by CovidPatientZero#0332 on Jan 11, 2025, 10:34:26 PM

Now the PC hardlocks even at the start of the game, problmes are getting worse instead of better. Good thing that critical and sarcastic posts get deleted, priorities are on point.

" I came to add that the crashes are getting worse and worse. Now the game crashes without even launching. I see the grinding gears, and it stops there. I can't keep doing this. I'm currently installing the standalone launcher, and will give it a try that way. I really don't know what the issue is. My PC is fairly new, and no other game crashes or freezes my PC like this one. I noticed that if I validate steam game files, then the game gets me through the part where it crashes, and I can play for a while before it starts happening again. |

" It's official. I can no longer launch the game no matter what I do. UPDATE: I uninstalled Adrenaline, and installed a previous GPU drivers, drivers only. I'm in now. Last edited by ex_IllusionisT#8571 on Jan 12, 2025, 5:00:56 AM

" WOW! Why didn't you post that early? With the help of my IT friend I managed to install virtual machine and now I can play the game. Fortunately it doesn't even crash but I'm having pretty low FPS, it's about 50-ish. I suppose pci pass is what I have to do the next? Should I set the affinity for my machine or the game? Just in case I disabled CPU 0 an 1 for the vm and the game inside it. Oh I think I've got it! I don't have to set it anymore at all, because I can change the number of cores in the settings. That's COOL! Last edited by Daldonie#5305 on Jan 12, 2025, 5:17:50 AM

" It literally doesn't. You have no clue what you are talking about. PoEUncrasher reads from the game's state file to find when the game is loading. Only then it changes the affinity of your cores until loading is done and then it reverts. |
