Things aren’t looking great for crash and freeze issues right now.
Unfortunately, the focus seems to be on problems affecting the majority of players, leaving the smaller group dealing with these issues out in the cold.
As the interview wraps up and they start to “speed run” through questions, it’s hard to imagine crashes being brought up at this point.
I don’t know if there’s a huge demand for it, but I feel compelled to make another video to give a voice to those of you who are still dealing with this. It wouldn’t take much for them to at least acknowledge what paying players are going through with a simple tweet even.
It'd certainly be nice for them to give some acknowledgement after dropping $500 on a supporter pack for a game I can't play :)

Well they did end up talking about crashes. They talked about an nvidia crash to dekstop(driver related) though and not the real deal.

Must've missed it when I walked away for literally 3 minutes to use the restroom? I still see tons of people asking for them to address the crashes in the chat.

I believe that is a separate issue entirely. I am sure another iteration of Nvidia drivers will not fix the hard PC freezing that this thread was created about. That's a crash to desktop that they were talking about.
Also, people with AMD video cards are also experiencing the system freezes. So it can't be fixed with an Nvidia driver. It's likely related to CPU utilization and multithreading. It exists in PoE 1 and allegedly has for years without GGG addressing it. I don't expect them to ever fix this problem.
The pathetic thing about this is now that most of us can no longer get refunds for the supporter packs we bought. At 30 USD that's not so bad, but at 100+ USD you essentially just got robbed.
I wouldn't be saying that if they acknowledged the issue. They have no acknowledged the issue. So I'm saying that. Let the white knights come in and tell me I'm wrong and that I just have to buy another PSU to prevent PoE from crashing or something actually insane like that. Just like the D4 Blizzard forums lol

They did, it was named "nvidia crash to desktop" and they mentioned nvidia telling them next driver hopefully will fix it (like on reddit).
If that will not help they mentioned they will add extra option to gather more debug logs.

That is quite literally not related to the PC hard crashing/freezing at all. Stop spreading misinformation that they "addressed" it.

Except they have indeed acknowledged the issue. They just went radio silent right after. You can see it in the "Known Issues" section and there is also a support comment in this thread we are replying to right now that asks us to give them dxdiag logs.

Take a look in the nvidia driver forums to get a sense of how much trust you should put into their claims.
