Oddly the known bug section of the threads is gone. Still crashing on dx12, you can switch to vulkan, but the game plays with tons of stutters and low fps.

Maybe for you. My game is still crashing in the same way. I tried everything besides the rollback to 23H2. I'm not willing lose important data for this.

Correct. Still crashing. Strange it was removed from the list considering it's still happening.

******The only COMMON aspect I've seen that most people with freeze/crash/BSOD issues is that almost everyone is using an NVIDIA GPU - mostly RTX GPUS. Has anyone had these same issues with an AMD RADEON GPU (video cards, not CPU)??? Perhaps the issues is with the RTX Nvidia cards?
Just throwing this out there.
I have AMD 7900XTX and my PC is crashing every 20-30 minutes on DX12.
It is stable on DX11, but DX11 has other issues like stuttering because of the on-the-fly shader compilation.
So it's not just an issue with Nvidia cards.
There is at least one other user with 7900XTX that is having the same issues
https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3596061
He has the same CPU+GPU combo as me (5800X3D and 7900XTX).
I haven't seen any other reports from people using lower-end AMD GPU's and having crashing issues, though.
Also it is notable that 7900XTX has far lower market share than any high-end Nvidia GPU so the issues may not be that common.

It's still in the known issues list for me under "High priority issues":
Investigating cases where some players experience crashes and have to restart their PCs.

7800x3d/4070s/24h2/566.36
Game was crashing to desktop often with 566.14 driver.
But now, it crashes constanly locking up the whole PC forcing a hard shutdown with 566.36
Either way it's unplayable right now.

Have we had any statement from GGG other than 'we are investigating'?

Had the same issue, This is what worked for me:
1. Open Command Prompt as Administrator:
Press Win + S to open the search bar.
Type cmd.
Right-click on Command Prompt and select Run as administrator.
2. Run the DISM Commands:
In the Command Prompt window, type the following commands one by one and press Enter after each command:
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /ScanHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /CheckHealth
DISM /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
3. Run the SFC Command:
After the DISM commands have completed, type the following command and press Enter:
sfc /scannow
4. Wait for the Scans to Complete:
The scans might take some time to complete. Be patient and let them finish.
5. Review the Results: (Optional)
Once the scans are complete, the Command Prompt will display the results. If any issues were found and fixed, it will let you know.
Did this and it found two corupted files(something to do with bluetooth, tho my computer doesn't have bluetooth...) and reparied them. Now let's see if it works.
