POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen
Game refunded. I will wait until it becomes Free to Play. No reason to support such kind of nonsense ( Admin will delete this reply since there is a word refund in it )

The crashes not being fixed yet I can accept, but zero communication after patiently waiting seems pretty awful. They are communicating and transparent about everything else, but a crash that can brick PCs is radio silent. I can be very patient and understanding, but going on a christmas vacation without a single word to people who can't even play the game without risking their PC is too much. I spent a lot of money to support the game, but this feels bad enough to consider going through steam for a refund.

Was working fine for me until this latest patch. Now my PC has hard-crashed (requiring reset) twice. Both times on loading screens (at startup & changing area).

" Dude, you've got 300 coins for that 30$. So it's no just access to bugged alpha version but you can spend those points on something else. |

Community poll:
Will there be a fix of POE2 freezing pc: - not until your 7800x3d is fried? - no fix is possible - it is intended to freeze my pc? - before Christmas? 😳 Good thing a new cpu is dirt cheap. Maybe one should buy more AMD stocks? |

Patch did not fix the crash for me too

Keeps freezing the entire PC, after patch.

Let me put my solution that worked.
I use 3 monitors in my day to day, but I only enable one while playing, and I disabled "game mode" on windows 11. |

temporary solution already posted here but its always worth to remember...
download process lasso and turn off cores 0, 1 save the profile, now everytime you start the game it will automatically set the affinity...game will still crash but the pc will be safe from freezing. Last edited by showcolate_GoD#4125 on Dec 17, 2024, 10:25:40 PM

I'm continuing to crash after the latest patch. I noticed that I've actually still been running on 23H2 and getting the hard crashes on zone transitions that everyone is describing.
Is there anything to gain or lose by updating to 24H2? |
