POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

Bump. I hope I'm not being too entitled to ask GGG to please gives us an update by this week.

I want to play this game, but it doesn't work on my new PC. Please, help. Is it too much to ask?

The game is unplayable at this point. seams to crash or freeze more and more I can now only load the game as soon as I move in a zone it freezes

I used to have the problem of hard freeze during load screens. Now however i crash to desktop a few seconds after loading in to hideout. Only POE causes crashes for me.

I have tried most of the suggested workaround with no solution.

CPU: AMD 7800X3D
GPU: 4090

What fixed the problem was going to Registry Editor > Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\DirectX\UserGpuPreferences


and deleting "C:\\Program Files (x86)\\ASUS\\ArmouryDevice\\asus_framework.exe"="GpuPreference=1;"

Probably Armourycrate is the root cause of this issue.

Restarted pc and everything is normal no more crashing.

Nothing to do with ASUS.

Yes, this is a very big request, since you have completed the main task, brought your money to GGG, and now you are free and can go home

Yeah I'm back to square one.

I ran a BIOS update last night hoping to fix a few issues I was having with other games recently. While those now seem to be resolved, my PoE and PoE2 are both still causing full systems hard locks.

ODDLY ENOUGH... PoE 1 now crashes on zone-in on any character, every single time, when it never did before. I was able to play PoE 1 without issue before while PoE2 was still hard-locking my system.

PoE2 is now stable for 4-5 hours and then will hard lock the system on zone-in randomly.

So it just made my PoE 1 go from unaffected to completely bricked...

This is so dumb.

After dealing with these PoE 2 crashes, i have given up playing it, but my pc just randomly rebooted itself now while all i was doing was using chrome through remote desktop. This has never happened before, so it is a bit suspect, perhaps a clue towards diagnosing a cause? Hopefully its not because PoE 2 corrupted my system and i have to format, or worse, damaged the hardware.
