POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

I don't know about the rest of you, but I spend money on really unhealthy food that ultimately makes me miserable, destroys my body, and brings me one pastry closer to death.

That is ARPG addiction.

If the food is inedible, then I should get a refund and warn others.

I've written a positive review that also has a warning for this bug with solutions.

I don't think a negative review has the effect you want. People mostly look at the positive rate and don't dig deep. They may find this thread with a Google search, but only a few might look into the actual text.

So many negative reviews are just harmful to the game and given the philisophy GGG showed over the years they aren't having a big focus on selling more, rather than making a good game. So if you want this solved this will not be done via Steam, but via Forum, Reddit and that stuff.
And they are already aware of the problem.

I've trust that they do anything they can to resolve this.

Furthermore I ask anyone who sees this message to write a positive review for Path of Exile 1 + 2 on Steam as it's a good game and there are a lot of hints that the freeze problem is not caused by GGG.

Investors look at negative reviews. Remember that GGG is a Tencent subsidiary so they report to people higher up. Steam reviews are the only thing the actual movers and shakers will see, hence negative reviews.

Positive reviews do not garner that much attention because unlike negative reviews they are not affecting sales numbers negatively.

Currently the only philosophy I've seen from GGG is Cold Handling, which is textbook Chinese corporate PR move. And it is a good move from corporate perspective when the issue is this problematic. But as long as you keep it hot, it does not work as well as they would like to. Hence the negative reviews. Mark my words: If this does lose traction they will not be fixing it anytime soon.

Furthermore, I ask anyone who sees this message to please give a negative review for Path of Exile 2 on Steam.
I cannot send/reply to direct messages because my in-game character has not finished Act 1.
What to do:
1)Write a short review about the hard crashes in notepad.
2)Copy and paste it to steam reviews, put up a negative review.
3)Copy and paste it to steam discussions, put it up there.
Yet another report:

It feels like the amount of crashes are increasing. By now it freezes on almost every initial loading screen (right after character selection). Half of the time, disabling multithreading does not help.

When I can get it running for a few loading screens (with multi-threading enabled), it seems to stay stable for a multi-hour session.
No idea if it was a coincidence, but two days ago, when I kept having a series of crashes, I used --nosound and it was able to run with that.

Feel free to contact me for more advanced analysis to run. I am a developer and have my fair share of unrepoducible problems on remote random devices ;)

My DxDiag: https://pastebin.com/UdMeEqDm

OFC while posting here, after two freezes, I was able to log in and have a running game.

I'm unable to play due to technical issues that are not on me to fix - my review is negative. If they fix it, I am inclined to change it.

If these happen to be "harmful to the game", good.
That's how this sounds to me:
Due to heavy flooding I can't exercise at my gym, so I leave a bad review for them. This will show them to put more effort into pumping out the water while the flood is still ongoing.

All I need to know about you.

No. The correct analogy would be:

My gym's custom made squat cage's safety bars sometimes fall off. If they fall off when someone had failed their lift, they could be injured or worse. The gym owners do not warn anyone.

Meanwhile I'm arguing with people who say:
1) You can't get injured if you fail a squat lift.
2) You can just bail out with the correct technique.
3) Just use knee wraps and a belt. You can't get injured if your belt is high quality.
4) The plates are really high quality so we should just look at them and ignore the glaring death trap.
5) Gym owners already communicated look: "this issue appears to be affecting mostly those who wear SBD."

today my game freezed on the first loading screen 2 times consecutively :)
Seems like people get really sour when they can't provide a good explanation on how the bug occurrs suddenly in a game that hadn't had patches, but still want the company that didn't change the code to be at fault.

What about an analogy about the hazards of stepping on LEGOs?

I'm new to the ARPG genre. Seems like a serious lot.

Did they delete the other thread? Seems sus that threads are being deleted when people are having legitimate issues with this crash problem.
