POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen
" Don't waste your time trying to address someone unironically named "GriefLord 69", it's obvious Spam/Bait/Malicious Behavior, simply report them and move on. Yes, it is GGG's fault. Yes, it is POE (1 & 2), not Microsoft/Linux/AMD/Vulkan/DX12/NVIDIA/SONY. Yes, it is frustrating that we paid for both the Early and the Access only for a bug to prevent us from having what we paid for. Yes, it can brick your PC and/or some components in it. Yes, you should stop playing until there's an official fix. Yes, the lack of responses from the Devs / updates on the status of a fix is as frustrating as the bug itself. And yes, there're way too many "IT experts/Netcafe Owners" and way too little common sense. |

My PC would completely freeze up, or 'hard lock,' during loading screens when I was using Windows 11 update 24H2. This meant the screen would stop responding, and the only way to restart the computer was by pressing the power button. After switching to Bazzite Linux, I haven't had any of these issues. I've been able to play POE2 for three days without any problems, showing that the issue was with Windows 11 for me.

" Lucky you. But this happens to Linux users as well -according to their posts here-, so this is definitely not a fix for everyone. Have fun playing tho. |

Game did run perfectly on Windows 10, on AMD 3950x with 32 GB Ram amd a 3090RTX.
Did change to Windows 11, all games so far 100% stable. Changed Hardware to AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 8-Core Processor 4.70 GHz 64GB Ram, still the 3090 Card. Game Crashes under Windows 11 2024H2 randomly. Sometimes runs for hours, but when it crashes, it only does on map change or loading screen, never ingame. All other Games are Stable so far not 1 Single crash. Only POE2 keeps crashing. It really kills the fun of the game. |

" [Removed by Support] We can't play the game otherwise the entire OS crashes. I stopped playing because I almost lost my OS install to this shit. Hell people a losing hardware components to these crashes. At this point we paid for glorified malware. Until I have a confirmed fix from GGG I won't play and have wasted $30. Some people have spent quite a bit more on this game. We've had one recent response about this, that's it. I think we have a right to bitch. Last edited by Vash_GGG#0000 on Jan 15, 2025, 3:30:16 PM

Is today the day we get an update on this? We're approaching 2 months at this point. Why is PoE2 the only game this happens on? Interesting...

" Dec 6, 2024 to Jan 15 2025, is 5 weeks. That's a whole lot of rounding up to get to 2 months. Dev team has posted in known issues, has posted in a few threads asking for DxDiag files, we all know the issue is being worked on. I get being impatient and frustrated that this takes more time then we, as players, like. When a fix does drop I'd rather wait for one that has few or no new bugs, rather than a quick hack that does who knows what. **Asus TUF x670E Gaming, 7950x3d, AIO Corsair H150i Elite, TridentZ 192GB DDR5 6400, Sapphire 7900XTX, All Samsung 4k: 56"<->Arc2 55"<->48", NVME Sabrent Rocket 2TB, MP600 Pro 8tb, MP700 2 TB.
