POE 2 Complete PC Freeze while loading screen

i have been playing for 14 hours now without a single crash after going back to windows 11 23h2, previously i was crashing once every 10 minutes.

in my case, everything was fine during the windows 23h2 build.
all the crazy game crashes started only after the 24h2 feature upgrade. after doing some research, i learned this is much worst for people using amd multithread cpus. i am using an amd 7800x3d and i get about 50% chance to crash during zone/map loading. i also get a few crashes in game. now microsoft just announced it will require users to update to 24h2 soon because they will stop supporting 23h2 on oct 2025. i know ggg is doing something about this and i hope they find a fix soon. this forum is already 400 pages long so.... Same issue here. Found a bandaid fix by removing the game affinities from 1-2 cores of my CPU and leaving Task manager on while I play. Seems like the issue is that the game is using 100% CPU during loading of maps and at the same time fighting and winning against the OS in terms of competing for CPU usage.
I also found another thing you can do is to turn off Multithreading before teleporting to another location (eg. maps, hideout, town, etc.) and turning it back on after, but it's a bit tedious. Ryzen 5 3600 Nvidia Geforce RTX 3060 |

Here I saw two things that would possibly be crashing after login: Vanguard and Brave. After closing both and entering the game it was stable. I tried opening the game 5 times today before this and it was crashing. |
