The problem is that for majority of the people rolling back did not help, because it was not rolling back that helped in your case either, it was something else you did or happened automatically while you were doing the roll back.

We have multiple reports on here, on steam, and on other sites/platforms (4chan, discord etc...). Rolling back does not help. If it did, everyone who rolled back would have reported that it does help instead of coming back and saying "never mind I crashed again".

Not to mention there is no way to rollback to Windows 11 23H2 from a Windows 10 22H2 or Linux.

Misinformation such as "Path of Exile 2 hard crash is due to Windows 11 24H2" causes people to waste hours in rolling back to Windows 11 23H2. The problem with the rollback is simple:

1) Doesn't work.
2) Updates are there for a reason. Among the bloat there are some portions that fixes critical issues of Windows 11 24H2, of which there are many.
3) Rolling back will not be an option soon. 24H2 is a forced update.

That's why, once again I ask anyone who encounters this problem to please give a negative review for Path of Exile 2 on Steam in a detailed and informative manner so that others will be made aware of the issue and so that we can fight against misinformation.

Piratesoftware is playing again, anyone know if he did anything to stop the crashes? Tried asking in chat a few times but got no response.

same thing here constant crash now. was bad before but after patch its really bad. i dont understand why this only ggg out of the dozens of games i play. I run 9800 x3d 4800 GPU if that helps

Tried again and the second loadscreen was a Full Crash again.

Since 24H2 update i have Black screen, when i Alt+tab and now poe 2 is crashing constant.

I was having crashes like every 2-3 times I switch an area. I was even crashing at the start screen after the GGG logo. Decided to switch to Vulcan from DX12 and haven't crashed since. Might be really lucky, don't know.

I have the same issue. I have to force kill my PC 2-3 times every session ... because of that i am losing the fun in playing the game.

10mins of straight hard crashing, I need to use POEUncrasher otherwise my PC hard crashes with it...

Since the patch, the game has become unplayable.

It's way past the time GGG should already have updated us.

Even if it's solely a windows problem, announce that.

It's not solely a Windows problem, but they seem to be keen on blaming 24H2 which is going to be a forced rollout soon. They'd better say something if they anticipate this getting worse before it gets better.
