First total freeze of my machine, requiring hard reboot today. No Windows button, alt/tab, no three finger salute. Complete crash.

Well, there's your problem. You're running Windows 11. I'm on the same boat as you. :D

Indeed wouldn't be a surprise. Heckin' bloated.

I've been sayin; all the major content creators for this game are total cowards for saying literally nothing at all. The big interview ahead of the patch was purely sycophantic which becomes more obvious the longer this remains unfixed.
Not playing this till it's fixed. Unfortunate. This is the biggest thread in the forum and they still can't fix it?
And, the third one of the day. I was able to do 3 maps in a row this time without crashing.

Hi GGG, where should i give you the adress for sending a new PC, because after hard-restarting it 5 times in a row, my mobo said fk this shit i'm out.

Blame your chinese mb. Why did you make five attempts to play the game? You could go and check the forums out after first 1-2 freezes.

trying to blame it on windows sis unprofessional. its the companies responsibility to make their program work on the os. I do wish ggg was faster with this though

They do it because GGG doesn't have direct access to your hardware and lower levels in general. But indeed it's not only related to Microsoft Office...sorry, Windows 11 24H2, but Windows 10 also affected by that issue.

What is the rationale for TWO threads over 400 pages and radio silence from this company?

Fake news. You just don't want to read their messages.

The most extreme thing I’ve done so far is setting up a Docker container with Linux, loading SteamOS onto it, and running the game on Linux. Surprisingly, that worked, but playing it from the container introduces some lag.

1. You have to setup PCI Passthrough for your guest OS
2. Using SteamOS is not the best choice for the gaming in terms of performance, because Valve prioritizes compatibility over performance. Something like Nobara is better IMO.

Is there some way to block this dude cursorTarget? Imagine being so in the pocket of some company that doesn't care about you instead of showing solidarity with fellow players/consumers.
