Network lag POE2

Just started playing and it's borderline unplayable because of lag. Even the sound effects and dialogs are spikey. I deleted my 1st "normal" or whatever it's called characters and recreated a "Solo" character but the lag is the same. In the options menu, I can see the server connection ping constantly bounces between 2 and high 3 digits.

We need a true local solo mod that's not affected by server bandwidth please.

But in this Forum you will not get "Official Support" nor is any "official" interested in this Problems!

This Forum is a Player helping Players Forum and in most casers other Players can not help with Network related issues.

Using a PAID VPN is definitely not the solution for this problem!

Exact the same issue.. ping goes to 500 - 1000 - 2000 - 5000 to 10000... And the spikes happen everytime 🥺

I've been encountering the same issues with California(US). Oscillating latency from 40ms-300ms every 4 seconds.

I was able to resolve my issue by switching to Texas(US) logging in and out. Then switching to "Auto Select". It auto selected California(US) and now my latency is a steady 5ms.

I'm assuming this selected a different shard/node in California.

Same issue here. I'm in Brazil and my ping jumps from 33 to 1k+ quickly. I tried resetting my network and restarting the router. The problem was fixed for a while. After 1 hour, it came back. If anyone knows how to solve it, please share!

plz fix the servers, we cant play like this.

Rigth now I have issues with the lag spike, have seen threads on reddit and steam, and all have the same issue, maybe they need to change the company, because this problem has nothing to do with our machines

Same here. Frankfurt server. There is no problem until at nights. This is terrible.
