South African servers not working

Good day,
I would like to confirm it's changed to Paris now on default. Can we please get clarification on the server (it says 25ms on the menu) but it seems like we are not online. |

Good thing I waited to purchase was waiting to see if we had good South Africa server before buying.
Can GGG give confirmation on this. or is EA for South Africa only available through EU. it matches their intitial comment of "all regions have access and able to play". meaning we get to play but at higher ping. I'll hold on purchase until then. Hopefully someone from GGG can give confirmation. |

Same here. Moving feels so spongy with WASD and the skills being delayed is annoying.

Loving the game, hating the ping.
I played back in the the day of rubber banding across the map, so I'm sticking it out, but would love to see the South African's get some love and have our server sorted out. I'm hoping it's something that they will fix and that we are just a little low on the priority list for now with it being launch weekend and all. |

Can you please fix the South African server?
Playing on EU is absolutely horrible, and not what I paid for. I was told by Jarrod on this forum that all servers would be up as per POE1. I played POE1 before POE2 launch, the SA server was smooth as butter... It was absolutely amazing. This is not amazing, and i paid for this. Please acknowledge us? Thanks |

Just adding to the thread, ping is dreadful for SA gateway, definitely not our local server we are being connected to.

Adding to the thread to confirm this is also happening to me , not sure why it is re-routing us because it is showing the server with its ping on login screen (5ms) then once I'm in game I have 170 ping
