South African servers not working

Same for me
No matter what server i choose it puts me on EU servers and it feels bad to play at 250 ping
PLEASE FIX

Same issue here looks like we're being automatically connected to EU Frankfurt or Paris.

Confirming issue as well. I was wondering why the game felt so slow and clunky!

Same I actually purchased it because it had local servers but that was a lie as it constantly connects me to 170MS+ servers

No gateway yup, you get like 10 ping but once you do anything like move or use a skill it goes up to 170+. turns out we are just on eu servers. Please GGG acknowledge that this is an issue you are aware of, working on a fix or if EA is not available available for south african servers.

Adding my comment here as well. It feels bloody awful to play at 180ms!

Bumping this. The problem is exacerbated by the fact that we are forced to play on lockstep. Manually setting networking_type=predictive in poe2_production_Config.ini does not do anything either.
