This sounds like an issue in the code of the game.

Edit: Will confirm that it is the instance of the map that needs to close. Went to watch anime for 20 minutes, and was all good after that.

Same here. Act3(Cruel) teleporting from Silverfist area. Reinstalling a game and 4 hour nap fixed problem for me. gl Exiles.

Can confirm, My fix was as follows

1. Made new character

2. AFK'd for 15-20 mins in the main town.

swapped to old character stuck in Jungle Ruins and is fixed
