Difficulty is way to high
" I fully agree, no fun to see even the warrior get killed by two hits in the second zone! It is fine to have this difficulty but then add a lower difficulty version. Currently this is not enjoyable for me. Will stick to watching the streams for a few days. GL HF |

it really doesn't get better... it just is too difficult. I promise you they will lose casual players. 100%

more than difficult its just really tedious imo, loot drops are horrible so you get very little upgrades in but enemies keep scaling more than you can aquire gear for.
i started as a mercenary for obvious reasons, every enemy needs multiple shots with any elemental crossbow skill but most of the time i just gas grenade nuke enemies now because other skills do barely any dmg to mobs. im in act2 and i skip most mobs now because im getting tired of attacking them for no reward. I leveled up a first character in caustic arrow to level 20 then I rerolled because I couldn't take it anymore. Already the poison mechanic that has completely changed leaves me perplexed. I switched to a witch already of chaos, it's better, I'm doing well, but it's still slow and heavy. I was really looking forward to POE2, and I wouldn't say I'm disappointed, but I find the game so HARD from the start! It reminds me of the dirty Sentinel season! I'm not a hardcore player or anything, but I've already done a lot of leagues, level 100, huberboss etc... and honestly act 1 is hard, act 2... seriously GGG? and the rest is worse? That POE 1 is unbalanced, I can understand it, but on a brand new game... Overall I agree with the players on the negative side of the game, lack of gems, slowness of play etc... Chris, patch this! |

My Dude, it is Early Access..
To all other people also, PoE 2 isnt supposed to be like PoE 1, it is suppose to be harder, more ruthless like. I'm thoroughly enjoying the game and if i really want to zoom, i can just go back to PoE 1. And an extra note, everything is new, just wait until people find out the right combo's, all act boss mechanics have been analyzed and have guides for them, the struggle will be gone. For now, just enjoy something new and fresh and get into the experience of a true challenging game for once |

I am done for now. Did not have the brains to use my ONE uncut spirit gem on SRS and now am stuck with shitty gear and zero dps minions.
Plus I do not enjoy to have to focus 100%of the time on dps, dodging, comboing, etc. It's just sensory overload. Sure, L2P. get good, etc etc. But when the fun is not there, I find it hard to keep going. |

SO far it's not so much difficulty, it's just that monsters and bosses especially, feel very spongy. The fight at the end of A1 is probably the best ARPG fight I've ever had, BUT... you're only like level 16-17 lol. I'm not really looking for a 7-9 minute boss fight at that level, even if it is amazing, and especially considering he basically drops nothing. At least guarantee a rare for an end Act boss. 4 minutes or so would've felt perfect ( I know this will vary wildly depending on builds and gear etc... but speaking on average). Especially considering he talks for like 20 seconds at the end of Phase 1 and is attacking and I'm taking his health down... only for him to transition and completely heal. Stuff like that needs to be fleshed out.
Really that is my only complaint so far. The game is beautiful, the changes to gems and crafting are fantastic, the music (especially boss fight music) is incredible. Even the story is pretty damn good, which I usually don't care about in an ARPG, but it's cohesive and dark, and pretty awesome. |

Early access looks like one of those pay to win Korean mmos that are no fun. Everything just has so much health and drops are basically worse than poe1 ruthless.
Take my criticism with a grain of salt because I ain't playing this in early access. |

" no casual mode please, POE 1 solo selfound softcode mode is still there waiting for you. In love Hardcore solo self-found mode

Different classes have different pop off points.
I have steady feedback my IRL friends who are as good and two better than me. Here's your break down. It's not too difficult if you've played PoE and not just copied PoENinja the whole time. ) Minions are strong from the start and don't get weaker tested to 40. ) Monks Invoker are strong starting but you'll need to learn combinations. ) Warrior (both) are weak starting and takes off after 2nd lab. ) Infernalist and Blood Mage will lean on minions till they get going. ) Stormweaver Cold good start and texted to 35. ) Chrono no idea. ) Chonk no idea. ) Rangers no idea. I'm playing Infernalist. Died once to 100% my fault. SRS Crit Fire/Ignite. No actual minions. Monk Invoker also, Tri Elemental. If you're 25+ and you don't have every base skill slot filled. You're missing something. "Never trust floating women." -Officer Kirac
