Continuous Stuttering/Lag Despite Stable FPS and Internet in PoE 2 Early Access

"
So my solution was to join a random high number chat room for both global and trade and the stutter dissapeared.

Nah I'm still lagging even playing in a dead chat. It's a server issue I tried reinstalling the game, updating drivers, changing settings ingame and nothing helps. When I play any other game the issue isn't there so it's either Servers or the game communication with them.
I have half a Gigabit of internet speed and my rig is decent (R7 5700X3D + RTX 3080) so it should be a non issue. This problem is more common in weekends so I play on weekdays more often than not.

I had stuttering aswell after the first 2 weeks. The game felt unplayable then i found my issue and solved it. My issue was the chat , every time some typed in chat global or trade my game started to lock up for like mili seconds , i tried to disable chat did not help.

Hope this helps yall.

Oh, I did do that too actually. People who still get this maybe try doing this along with using an Ethernet cable as a first thing?

Just saw this in another thread, CPU spikes seem to come at the same time as chat messages in global or trade chat for me.

I just walked around my hideout and saw a spike as each message came through.
Hiding/filtering the chat didn't help.

Leaving trade 1 helped significantly.

What helped the most though was deleting/renaming client.txt at steamapps\common\Path of Exile 2\logs. It appears this file is updated with each chat message and for some reason this causes a CPU spike when the file gets larger.

Maybe delete/move/rename this file each time before you play, or close the game, rename/delete, then open the game anytime you see an issue, and see if it helps?

It helped me at least.

Renaming the log file worked for me too, no stuttering and lags anymore. Thank you.
Edit: they're back :(

same boat me and my RL friend ...

unplayable endgame due to this ...

needs fix
In case it helps anyone...

After learning more over the past several days I found, what should of been obvious in the beginning, that my lag is due to CPU spikes, not GPU or Server.

Strangely enough verifying the integrity of my game files seems to have fixed the issue for me. Although there was no note that anything was wrong or missing, this seems to have fixed the issue for me for now.
2 Things Helped My Spikes/Stutters

First this 10 year old post from reddit:
https://www.reddit.com/r/GlobalOffensive/comments/3ahg59/fix_for_wireless_ping_spikes/

And Disabling "Intel Innovation Platform Framework Service" from Windows Services Find your equivalent Amd Service if you can if not intel I guess

Thank you!!! I keep having this stupid lag spikes, it keeps jumping from 20ms to 500 and the game pretty much freezes for a sec every 3-5 seconds, I just typed /global 8989 and the latency is now constant 24-26... How is just the chat server causing this I can't understand... I'm not even using the global or trade chat, I have both of them disabled since day one.. Well, thank you again, that fixed it for me.

Issue persists. Feedback would be appreciated.
Issue exists for me as well. I have a Core i91300k, 32 GB RAM DDR5, RTX 4080 and the came on DX12 caps at 27FPS.

I swap to DX11 and it shoots up to 150 FPS but the moment I walk forward it drops back down to 15 FPS.
