Continuous Stuttering/Lag Despite Stable FPS and Internet in PoE 2 Early Access

I'm getting these constant massive lag spikes too. It only started happening for me after the last patch.
(Adding my experience of this issue to the thread, also created my own thread before I was aware of this: https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3649640/page/1#p25692825)

Hello, I'm also experiencing issues with stuttering. It happens in all areas of the game. The network stat spikes up and immediately drops back down, and at the same time that is occurring, the game will stutter / freeze.

I have this issue after the patch but it's happening only on maps with ground effects like burning ground.

Interesting. I had two atrocious maps today, one with shock effects and one with chill effects on the ground, barely playable. Can anyone hint GGG that there may be a newly introduced error in the ground effects processing?
I get near constant stuttering, but every once in a while I get an area that is smooth. But if I leave it and come back the stuttering will start again.
+1. The fact that not everyone is complaining about how unplayable the game is, is very strange to me. Are only specific users affected?

As we have it, GGG will be on Holiday vacation if not already, we may not see a fix for this until several weeks ahead of now.

This sucks.

The game is unplayable for me at the moment. In town everything is OK, but every map is lagging massively. Sometimes it fixes itself, and I can play for a while, but then lagging comes back. Seems like PoE2 servers are having an issue. It has been like that for a few hours, after last patch.
I bit the bullet and reformatted to an earlier build of 23H2 yesterday.

The shader compile loop seems to be gone now and the game doesn't have those micro stutterings and input lag all the time which felt great to play once again after suffering with it for a week. (I only got to test for about 3 hours, but i did a PC reset inbetween to see if the shaders are properly stored which seems to be the case for me now. )

But i can tell that the CPU is still spiking hard during loading so still limiting the amount of cores it has access too.

Idk what was causing it since I went with a hail mary but it ended up helping me.

Could just be coincidence.

Good luck everyone.

It's 2am where I live and my game is suddenly now stutter free. I think it's because not as many people are playing?

Crazy that GGG doesn't even acknowledge this problem... It's still persisting sadly.
I hope they address this soon. It really is unplayable in this state. First I couldn't play because I was constantly crashing. Now that i'm no longer crashing after the last patch, I'm getting lag spikes.
