I'm sorry... these bosses just aren't fun. They're tedious.

Overtuned. Over designed. Tedious, and just pain points to overcome in order to continue.

If I wanted this kind of gameplay, I'd play Dark Souls, or Elden Ring - which I don't because I don't want this kind of gameplay.

It's a weird feeling because for a while I was really looking forward to the game. Now I'm just disappointed.

It's too slow. Too clunky. Too dependent upon mechanical movement (dodge). And too influenced by Ruthless. Let's see what it's like in few months.

in ds/er you always see your mistake. you rolled soon or late or positioned bad.
here bosses just throw new crap at you each 10 min of the fight. dodging them is easy, the time it takes to get HP to 50% is huge.

then you have small arena + 4 aoe traps in place, 1 that follows you and boss at 80% hp. and you just like, oh well.
I am having fun and appreciate the challenge, but some of these boss fights have taken me hours to get past. I don't see myself making more than one character per league whereas in POE1 id have multiple
Bosses have way too much life at the moment, fighting for 10 mins to lose after missing 1 dodge feels terrible.
From teh last ExcileCon I knew PoE 2 would be Path of Bossfights. That's why I never felt any hype for the game (besides the last announcement, but that got killed pretty fast in the past 24 hours), I'm just sad the devs want this struggle from boss to boss. I honesly felt physically and mentally drained from the amount of focus I needed from all these back to back bossfights. I knew it wasn't going to be my style of game so I had already made peace with it.

The good thing is I have a year to finish the campaign, right? There is no way I'll want to do this again within the timespan of a year.

This is worse than D4 before they fix the mob density and speed of the game. 2 days in, im tossing in the towel, 30-40min of playing at this sluggish pace is tiring and not very engaging. Difficult boss fights are cool and all but, where the hack and slash the other 95% of the time. The boss times should be cut in half at least. checking back in a month or so to see if it gets better but, im not very hopeful for it
Man idk, these bossfights have been dope so far. I guess I'm only halfway through act 2 so maybe yall are talking about later on, but on melee monk and they take like, a minute or so. They've been really good.
Fighting Chimera boss in act 3 as a ranger was annoying, constant phases where boss is invicible, and how I am supposed even to avoid posion phase, if I go behind boss back, there will be slam phase and I need to run into poison.

Male will have a great time with this boss.

Yeah, it's always very clear if you dodge something in a DS game. Plus it's usually a timing thing, not a "if you don't roll as soon as the boss attacks, tough luck"-thing like here which just feels cheap af. Plus tons of boss arenas are just littered with stuff that that have very sloppy hit boxes.

All in all most boss fights just got a super janky and imprecise feel to them. I don't think they nailed this at all and they got tons of work in-front of them if they want to get to From Softwares level imo.
Ninja.

Think it more depends on people. I personally love this. I dont want a copy of PoE1, and this is great. And Im not really a DS/ER player either. I just love that there is a change of pace, and the game is fucking amazing.
