I'm sorry... these bosses just aren't fun. They're tedious.
Good news then, PoE still exists

Your right, game is too hard. I spent 280.00 on the game. 30.00 for the game and raged on my monitor after first boss fight for another 250. :(

Slow, sluggish, clunky, and tedious. #MakeARPG"shaveactionagain

" I really hope that's just a meme. I've broken mice, and a friend has smashed his keyboard, but a monitor?! |

I have to agree. I m so let down. Act 1 boss.. wtf. Lol. I was doing solid damage all along. Get to him and now I'm doing nothing? Really? How the heck do you change your build from the check point?
I saw an early vid of the cloud sequence. Wow. Did they fuck that up in this. Before there were a few. Now swarms??? Wtf. I didn't use any pots during the boss phases. Used them all from swarms .and they the boss does some stupid mistimed thing. And boom done. Wow. So fun. I tried a lot. I leveled 3 Chara to that point with 3 builds. None did anything worth writing about. Seriously? And every one .no issues all the way to the top of the elevator.. then total bullshit weakness. Yes. Geet gud. I know. But there's something not right. It's like they haven't played their game thru.. it was a complaint with bliz and d4.. we know they play 2, but I'm now wondering if they play it.. or simply level a room in back office and then start from where ever. Decked out in occy rings and headhunters ... Very very disappointing |

For bosses, keep in stash some items with resists (jewelry, gloves, helmet, body armor), to be able to swap resists as needed.
Most bosses deal a single elemental damage type, if you have at least 50 resist to that damage type, you can tank most hits easily. |

another whining post of a PoE 1 player with the reaction time of a slice of toast.

oh yeah, how many times have you gone back to fight a boss you've defeated becaues you enjoyed the fight
0? thought so, they're boring my friend |

They need to tune down some of the ability tracking and the fights would feel better.
I know its probably like that because they dont want you to trivialize the fight by dodging out of everything, but having bosses spin 180 degrees and still hit you, and its less about what you moved out of than when you dodged, which gives some of the abilities in the fights a weird/awkward feeling. You dodge some things normally like explosions or things on the ground, then you are thrown off by some auto-tracking ability the boss uses that requires you to dodge at a specific time instead of actually dodging out of the attack animation, just doesnt feel good. I think if they tone down some of the tracking and dont have bosses spinning like a disco ball, itll feel more uniform and fair, and just feel better to play. Limit how far a boss can track you with an ability and make the gameplay uniform instead of what amounts to a quick-time event for some attacks, and normal gameplay for others. 1. It's not supposed to be poe1.
2. If your fights take long, it's because you don't have damage. Upgrade your gear/skills. 3. We have lots of skill slots to work with from the get go. Use them. 4. It's day 2, quit complaining and try something different if spamming a single skill isn't working. 5. It's EA, we'll be fine. |
