Ended campaign. Now cant interact with map device. Also 3rd ascendancy didn't work for me (I did 7/10 trials).

Same. Changing instance works for a single map. After map is done or you die: same problem again.

I had a bug, I couldn't interact with the map walker machine, changed the server, it helped, but after the maps the portals shifted, and I again the same thing happened. I went to sell the quest item and the portals returned, and I was able to use them again. I had an item that could be sold for a gold quest.

I also had bugs with the topic that quest items did not drop from Act 3-6, after killing the quest boss, unkilled server changes were ordered, causing

I managed to find a work around for this.

Asked for a friend to open a Waystone in a Hideout map on his atlas. I joined it and we completed it together. That way, I got my own hideout and I can now access a working Map Device.

Had the same problem. It's related to payed version of the hideout. To solve this you need to have a friend with atlas and unlock a free hideout with him. Once you unlock your own hideout - map device starts working. It's a shame bugs like these get into the public version of the game.
