Acolyte of Chayula - Consuming Questions not leeching Energy Shield

Consuming Questions notable for the Acolyte of Chayula that says "mana leech effects also recover Energy Shield" is not working.

I've tested it with a bunch of skills and 5% mana leech and it is not applying to ES, I don't think the instant leech is applying to mana either.

All leech seems to be bugged currently, playing blood mage and the leech doesnt work there either, heard similar things from others with leech.

I have the same problem. Mana leech does not restore energy shield.

I tried using different weapons - including those with the Mana leech prefix. Regardless of the physical attack value, energy shield does not regenerate.

The support skill "soul thief" doesn't help either. Energy shield taken does not regenerate.

Mana leech works on mana itself, but the value of the instantly restored mana can be completely different despite attacking with a basic attack.

Same here, mana leeches but ES doesnt. I tried even putting mana leech gem on auto attack with phys dmg weapons and still 0 ES gain. Has to be bugged

ES is leeched but it is so infinitesimally small that spending 4 ascendency nodes actually nerfs your character by losing ES recharge.

Tests ran with 15.96% Manaleach doing an average of 739 phys damage per hit at lvl 46.

EXPECTED
ES leech = 117.94 before leech resistance

ACTUAL
Level 41 trash mobs - ES leech = 2-5 per hit
Level 31 trash mobs - ES leech = 5-15 per hit

here's a thought based on what i've experienced at lvl 56.
would you think that ES leech would stop working when man is filled since you don't leech mana when unreserved mana is filled.

Not working still. Tested various damage types on my monk. Physical and elemental damage does not regenerate any energy shields. Picking this node means you play without energy shields if you lose them once. Hopefully will be fixed in the next patch.
