PoE 2 Ascent to power quest cannot complete

Third Ascendency points in PoE 2
In the case of Third Ascendency, you don’t have choice, you have to farm one of the trials:

Trial of the Sekhemas – 3 floors (map level 60+)
Trial of Chaos – 10 trials (Map level 75+)

Yes but if you use that coin with the quest bugged, the statue is not clickable at the end so you wasted the coin for nothing.

The quest must progress and it doesn't. You need to do it to unlock the area in Act2 Cruel so you can put in the coin there.

If you don't and put the coin in the area in Normal, it will not allow you to get the points even if you do the 3 floors.

It needs to get fixed ASAP

had the same problem - frustrated me all the way from act 5 to endgame. went into my first map and an "non green" barya dropped with the text "GRANT ADDITIONAL ASCENDENCY SKILL POINTS"

Same here the quest is bugged.

I think the white coin that dropped from Balbala was supposed to be a green one, but the devs fkd something up.

Yeah this is bull. No quest progression as well...

Same bug here. Taking the coin to act2 normal trial changes the coin description so you would NOT get the points, so we really need the fix to progress and get the ascendancy points.

Same problem. I killed the boss in ACT5 and I got the coin but the quest stills says search the traitor's passage

For those saying that you shouldn't ascend in Act5, after killing Balbala, I got a coin that clearly says "Completing this trial will allow you to choose your Ascendancy Class".

But in the trial, after putting it on the device it says the opposite.

Also, like many already said here, the quest is still pointing to search the Traitor Passage, so I think we can assume it is a Bug.
