POE2 - Unable to Complete "Ascent to Power" in Cruel Difficulty

Same issue: killed Balbala twice, did not drop anything. Quest is stuck with "Search traitor's passage"

Please fix this! I have reset the cruel traitor's passage instance and fought djinn boss 3 x now without getting a single trial key.

Managed to replicate it also for normal act 2 (not cruel) - successfully (xD) blocking location "Trial of the sekhemas" on a character.

Me and my brother both have the same bug. We killed the boss twice. Still bugged

Same. I beat her 3 times and I am still stuck (cruel) and can't figure out exactly what to do to get this quest cleared or to ascend. This bug along with a few others desperately need to be fixed. Logged in one day to find my entire friends list is gone. My friends still see me on theirs but there's nothing on my end. I have also died a few times and had to reclear a map because a group of "monsters" were infinitely respawning, making it impossible to not die. Teleporting out and back in didn't work. Leaving the area and coming back didn't work. Only fix is to respawn at most recent checkpoint. Highly aggravating. Then there's the lag that ALWAYS seems to happen while fighting a boss while having the boss only a hit or two away from being beat and then the lag happens and boom you've been slain. I know this is the beta but I have seen easily a half dozen or more threads about this one very specific issue on only cruel. Please POE2 PRETTY PLEASE HEAR US AND HELP BY EITHER FIXING IT WITH A PATCH OR PROVIDE A WORKAROUND TO GET PAST THIS! 🙏🙏🙏🙏
