POE2 - Unable to Complete "Ascent to Power" in Cruel Difficulty

Ran traitors passage 3 times on ruel. The Djynn token drops but do not get credit on the quest. Uggggg. Frustrating.

I ran ascent to power again in non cruel mode and the quest was able to complete. I hope this helps others with the same issue.

this bug comes from not completing the original trial at the lower level. it also is related to the fact even the higher level chamber has the lower level 22 showing as well

Same exact problem for me as well. I don't know how to get out of it. It won't let me complete the trial unless I finish this quest. I rtouched the passage but it remains incomplete.

We are aware of this and are working on a solution. You should be fine to skip this quest in Cruel Act 2 as the third ascendancy trial related to the quest is level 60+
