I'm lvl 89 and I still use it. Too many skill lvl become a huge mana issue for skills

Use it as long as you like, if you notice you are dying some you can swap to a shield. Eventually you will probably like 2H +7 all skills + Shield on main weapon set, then +7 2H x2 dual wield on off hand.

Yea I agree that Hrimnors is a great way to balance resource costs too.
how are ur defenses? are we still using mainly armour? i read a lot of threads saying armour is broken and very weak as defensive layer.
Bump!

Cruel Difficulty, I have this gear (I didn't screenshot my rings 'cause they are a shit xD) and I literally do "walking simulator".

Evertything die, everything is stunned, everything is breaked and I can't literally die.

I changed the early a bit but I think it's just temporary, in the endgame these passives will definitely not be needed:

Thank you thank you thank you!

I'm thrilled you're having a good time, love that! You look just like I did at your level. The best part of it is that it doesn't ever drop off :D You end up needing some defenses in the high 80's but the damage keeps feeling amazing.
I have been kind of experimenting with Shockwave totems myself. I'm just back-and-forth on a few things.

1) Is a shield necessary? I just got to cruel and took Giant's Blood. Currently using a Hrimnor and whatever is the highest +skill weapon I find and things just die around me. It's pretty nice. Have 3 totems currently but should be picking up the fourth soon.

2) Jewels: What are ideal stats on them? I found a few on trade that give +totem damage, +global physical damage and random third stats for around 1ex each. They're pretty nice.

3) I ended up taking the ascendancy for ancestral spirits. They add some nice auras and they give some more defensive layers.

Other that that, shockwave totems are a lot of fun (minus the mana cost). I cruised through normal with two deaths just from boss mechanics I wasn't familiar with. Glad everyone is having fun.
Currently I playing gemling with artillery ballista and it's good. But I like all kinds of totem build so I wanna try swap to your build. Problem is I'm too lazy to leveling a new character so I will try your build with gemling and go a little different.

Since gemling is best at stacking attribute, I plan to stack strength so I will have a good chunk of health and can wear weapon with triple attribute requirement (giant bllod).

Another is that I get 30% less mana cost, combine it with inspiration I won't have any mana issue even get the totem up to lv 40.

That's the plan but I don't see much way to scale my defense. What do you think?
Awesome build and schowcase.
Which 1st, 2nd and 3rd Ascendancies should i choose?
