(Stormweaver) Max projectiles cold converted fireballs. Cheap, easy, powerful, FUN! (T16+ ready)
" The big shock variant appears to be better for Pinnacle bossing, but it is quite a bit more expensive, whereas the other variants are various levels of cheaper and can handle maps but are less good for high end bossing. I believe they can still -do- the bosses, just not as easily. So it depends on your preference and budget. |

Okay guys.
I have invested min 3 Divines to follow my youtube link. I am sure that this build will one shot bosses. However, I am still playing with 5 L on 3 main skills. Then, I must use smg recouped as mana otherwise playing breaches will be a nightmare. This build needs atleast 13+ div investment. For clearing, do not spam with this build. Otherwise, your mana will be depleted very fast. In trade off, we have so man projectiles. |

Switched over to EB and cast on shock w/ comet and noticeable ease of clearing of mobs and bossing felt a lot easier! I didn't opt for CI since I'm at 71% chaos res - using another jewel node instead. Sitting at 48k fireball with sigil - it ain't much but its honest work. Only got 3.5k mana and 1.5k hp though ><

How many links do you need in Cast on Shock comet to have it put work in?
Also what qualities? I might try it out, I have no idea how much I actually shock at the moment. Got loads of lightning damage though. Gonna be real sad when Archmage is nerfed lol |

At what amount of mana/ES did you guys switch to CI/MoM/EB?

" Mine is only at 5L for CoS Comet. I just run test with LAB level 80+. One shot bosses in after placing Frost wall |

" Hi. Instead of orb of Storms, how about putting lighting exposure on frost bomb? That way frost bomb will inflict cold and lightning exposure at the same time right? Does it work that way? Last edited by Araharja#3825 on Jan 1, 2025, 10:35:47 AM

" Breakpoints and feeling comfortable playing is really all that matters. For me, I've become comfortable shooting 2~ fireballs a second (cast speed wise), resistances obviously as capped as they can be, and then having a big mana pool to work with that gives damage/survivability. So it's really only those 3 things imo that make the build playable and more comfortable. If you're hitting those factors it really doesn't matter where you have the affixes, but at one point you should try to clean them up to be more efficient for your build (IE: resistances on gloves/chest/boots/helm, and leaving the other pieces for more damage/useful affixes that you can't find anywhere else). Rings/Wand/Offhand/Ammy should all have as many notable affixes that aren't on the other listed pieces (cast speed, crit, skill levels, etc). Nothing really needs to be perfect if you're not struggling. And once you get to T15+, you'll definitely need to re-gear/upgrade anyway. I always wait the longest I can before upgrading and just keep grinding until I struggle. " Not sure if I posted it here or in my guide, but yea, you can use any of the choices we've messed with and it'll apply exposure, but Frost Bomb I learned from someone in game doesn't trigger until it explodes, which takes a second. Orb of Storms/Ball Lightning both apply immediately when they shock and since Ball Lightning shocks VERY easily, it applies instantly basically. Where as with Frost Bomb, you have to wait till it goes off to apply exposure. Still works, but not as efficient imo. " You're going to want to have at least 3k. I remember when I first started with EB, I had like 3-3.5k and it felt okay for early mapping. The thing with EB is, 3k is really no different than 5k when you get one shot by things. It's going to be the smaller mobs that eat away at you and may kill you quicker if you don't have 4-5k mana. Either way, the idea for the glass cannon version of the build was to kill quicker than you get killed and once you go EB, you're definitely glass cannon. Just keep that in mind... Also, once you go EB, you sorta have to have at least 70%~ or so mana recoup to make it feel better as well. 2% mana per kill jewels in tree as well. which gems do you use on ball of lightining?

" Strip away & lightning exposure is all you really need. Anything else is whatever you prefer after that. I'm experimenting with fork/deceleration. Pierce could also be good, but generally we're only casting our exposure on rares/bosses so pierce and even fork is probably not needed. edit/ Decel = bad, goes to slow and ball lightning actually dies out after a pretty short range anyway. Strip away/Exposure/Fork, any other suggestions or ideas are welcome. Last edited by HigherTimes#6965 on Jan 1, 2025, 8:37:31 PM
