Totems made simple!
Does skillspeed work like in poe1?
Meaning increasing skillspeed makes you summon the totem faster but the totem has its own skillspeed, so attackspeed of totems is not increased. This would mean chill on you does not make your totems attacks slower but chill on your totem does. That would raise the next question: How does revert chill work with totems in poe2? |

Thanks for the guide. I am a bit confused on how you get 4 Health per STR? Is it from the 50% increased small passive skill on the ascendency tree? I am only at a little over 2k health at level 78, some clarifications would appreciated! :)

One thing to note in Trials of Sekhema, the minor affliction Blunt Sword (You and your Minions deal 40% less Damage) effects totems as well.

" This is by Gemling Legionaire's ascendency passive that doubles inherent bonuses of stats. |
|
" This one isn't reflecting in "DPS" tooltip of Shockwave Totem. Its not affecting Slam damage as well. | |
Can I use weaponswap points to buff totems on off-hand setups? Like if I took a bunch of totem life/damage/+1 limit and put it on weaponset 2, launch my totems, and then swap back to weapon set 1, will they keep the bonuses or do they disappear since the skills are no longer active?

I did some tests Gemling vs Titan on ShockWave Build I have gemling with 87lvl My Titan is 78lvl Differences in dmg are only ~1k on Shockwave totem (Slam and Jagged Ground) (the +1k dmg for adventage of Gemling) but we need to consider that there was almost 10 levels of difference between those two characters I run this test with same EQ and almost the same Passive skill tree(obviously as I needed to spend some points to get to the place where I went with Titan) So I would say +1 skill level and Quality is not worth it. The boost from Titan Ascendacy seems to scale better. Update: the difference in hp was also around 1k for gemling adventage, my titan has 354str and gemling had around 430+ Update no.2: the difference in Armor was about 10% for gelming adventage so I am also not sure if it is worth to make Gemling with totem build Last edited by joordybo#9520 on Dec 28, 2024, 1:47:44 PM

Someone knows does it works with Close Range Damage passives on tree?

I think that jagged ground should be a main socket rather than "support" due to how it synergises with more shockwave totems. If I'm not wrong, each jagged ground erupts for like 20% of the totem damage every time it hits. For EVERY totem that hits it. It basically increases total damage by 20% per jagged ground applied by totem (so 40% for 2, 60% for 3, 80% for 4), making it by far the best support for damage once you have multiple totems and enough attackspeed to consistently get the ground applied.

" Gemling do not have better dmg scaling than any other class, it has more quality of life or overall. You pick +1 skill level which is not really worth, instead pick -30% skill cost and double attribute inherit and it will be better qol. Since you got "gem requirement can be satisfy with your highest attribute" you can comfortly invest all into strength then you get more strength than other class. |
