HowDo (not written by myself but extended xD)

1.) Hold the PS button on your controller.

2.) From the Power menu, select Turn Off PS5.

3.) Wait until the PS5 power indicator light shuts off.

4.) Press and hold the power button on the console until you hear a second beep to enter Safe Mode. (or the first beep if u disabled the starting beep like me)
This should take about 7 seconds.

5.) Connect your controller to the console using the USB cable and p the PS button.

6.) Navigate to the Clear Cache and Rebuild Database option using your controller.

7.) Select Clear System Software Cache.

8.) Select OK.

9.) Wait for the console to restart on its own.

This solved it for me:

1. Logging off of POE2
2. Starting POE1 and briefly exploring a short distance in any zone with any character (for example just getting out of the door of the town in act 1)
3. Logging off of POE 1
4. Starting POE 2 again

This works like a charm on both PS5 machines we own.


I tried this today and it really works and also fixed my loot filter issue, THANKS!

Hopefully this will be fixed in the next patch and we can keep gaming in PoE 2 only.

Haven't played for a couple of weeks because of this issue. Logged in today and it was working fine again. Obviously there were some patches in between, but the fix was nowhere mentioned and is still on the "known list".
So not sure, if I'm just lucky or it's random or it got fixed :)
