Fog of war resetting starting today

Tried switiching to different servers, still no fix. This is really unplayable, do you guys think they will fix it? Given it is a bug dating from PoE1 ;(?

Cannot actually believe it, but reinstalled the game on PS5 Pro and it appears to be fixed. Some caching issue maybe?

It's a known poe1 bug since many many years, all posts on the poe1 bug report section were systematicely ignored so I doubt it will be fix one day. Reinstalling the game is the only way we know to fix the problem. Prepare yourself to reinstall every 2 hours and rip those who have bad connection. Welcome to poe console.

Happened to me yesterday.
As others have said, this bug has existed in PoE1 for years. It's known to the community as "the local storage bug". It can break filters as well (if you have custom filters, which is still impossible on console, AFAIK). Happily, there is an easier temporary fix than reinstalling. You just need to launch a different game. Not all games work. Here are the steps: 1) Fully close PoE2 2) Launch a different game, all the way to the opening menu 3) Fully close that game. 4) Relaunch PoE2. If it doesn't fix the map issue, try a different game. D4 is known not to work. Older games seem to have a higher success rate. Personally I use an old Star Ocean game (PS4 release of PS2 game). | |

This has been a problem with POE1 for years. And it never seems to be on the known issues list. Can't believe this is ongoing in poe2.
