Level 94 Invoker in SSF, all 4 ascendencys unlocked.
I struggled at first on my 3rd and 4th ascendency, but a little time grinding, rearranging some gear and skills was enough to get it done.

If you cant get the 3rd trial done by yourself at all, you should see that as a sign that you need to improve both your build and your knowledge of the game. It is not that hard!!!

To be fair, i think both trials and chaos chambers are already overnerfed and to easy currently.


It's not even about it being hard. It's NOT FUN. 0 FUN. No one wants to do this trash. Fact. Therefore many of us will simply stick to poe1 cause this game is lame.

Step 1 is to self reflect.
The no hit Indiana Jones game play has absolutely destroyed my excitement to make new characters. This sanctum like trial will make me stop playing. I avoided it in Poe1 and I'll keep avoiding it here. I was really hoping with PoE2 they were gonna come up with something new and great to ascend. Instead we got the worst mechanics of the first game and now are the cornerstone to your character progression. I also have completed them but never want to do them again.

come on guys, at this point you are just complaining to complain, you are bad at the game at very basic level, I did 3rd ascendancy with a warrior (before the nerf of the trials, which is supposed to be uber hard bla bla bla) and deadeye (obviously easier than), I didn't get the fourth cause i'm done with poe2, the one attempt per map is not for me, but I doubt the fourth one is much harder than the third.


I kind of get the same picture. I honestly think people aren't utilizing the relics.
I think people do not want to do either of these contents to ascend. Why? Because they suck. Fact.

Honestly this seems to be the case.

As well as probably horrible pathing on the trial tree, putting themselves into bad afflictions

I don't really get what GGG were thinking with the Trials. It's Lab but more annoying...

Yet people are permitted to steamroll trial 4, bring outsiders in at the last map room and have them wait outside the arena for the final boss to be killed to collect their Ascendancies easier than ever. Even low levels can get boosted up like this, no problem. If they want it to be hard, they should fix this, otherwise it is even more trivial than Lab (which was already so easy - I ran it for Lab Enchants way back when).

I only really find Trial 4 to be a hassle now for the record but I still don't like the concept in general.

With my current face-tank/blast build as a warrior the ascendancies are totally ridiculous.

I mean... what they never understood in POE 1 was that ASCENDANCIES are meant to lock in a playstyle for your build. Meaning you are to a point with your build where you understand it and are ready to have it tested.

And, in GGG's world somehow that means completely changing your build and playstyle to jump through pointless wickets to reach being "good" at your build enough to ascend?

How does that make even a bit of sense?

I mean, I'd get it if my build was a "trap rogue" or something that had abilities that allowed me to sneak past deadly traps or disarm them, etc.

That would make gauntlets right up my alley.

But, as a face-tank warrior? I should just be able to walk through traps (in fact, I can) without taking any real damage. But, my "HONOUR" gets hurt???

Who thought that up? Why does that make sense? Why is it even a thing for a warrior to have to AVOID being hit??

It just feels like they took the broken Labs from POE 1 and said "how can we make this worse".

Lab in poe1 was already pretty badly received by people I don't get why they bring an even worse version of poe1 labs in poe2.
