PoE 2 is actively damaging PCs and GGG is on Holiday without fixing it - Loading Screen PC Freeze

As soon as it first started happening shortly after the 24h2 I have never played it since. Built brand new rig every zone would hard freeze into complete power off.. cycle wasn’t worth it after 5-10.. had a sour taste about this game after that experience. Will come back when it’s fixed on all sides. Really disappointed with the lack of communication, I get it it’s the holiday new year is right around the corner but I don’t think people need like full daily updates but it would be nice to have GGG start to explain what’s going on what they are seeing and the roadmap for what to expect bad or good. Stay safe everyone!

Dude, it's just GGG's fault. It's an instance loading issue with dx12.

GGG has to fix it. Escpecially, the whole group was crashing in the same instance, this is not hardware related.

buy heeeey, 100k ppl with the same issue are nothing.

Not GGG fault because there is no way to crash entire system without dealing with the stuff at ring 0. GGG literally doesn't have access to that level. It literally means your system is vulnerable to any kido-haxxor which decides to freeze your system just by processing (compiling / pre-caching / loading/ executing / whatever) shaders.

100k (not sure it's 100k) is nothing comparing to CrowdStrike kms issue when we had hundreds of millions machines affected by the vulnerability recently.

Having the same issue since Windows update 24. Almost any loading will freeze my PC.
Reverting back to update 23 didn't fix the issue.

5800X/3080.
bump
I think it’s a steam client issue
Im having same issue seen a guy on YT saying to rollback your nvidia drivers to the 560.94 version !!!!
I have had 224 hours since release with no issues until today, nothing had changed, was not on the most current version of windows 11 and freezes at the loading screen each time and crashes my computer. I even did a restore back to windows 10 to try and alleviate the problem and still nothing.

Ive done every damn thing under the sun, and I tried this and haven't crashed in over 2+ hours doing 10+ maps so far. Maybe...Just maybe...
An easy fix is to disable one core from the cpu for poe2 client. simple as that
I had this issue too, did the whole “disable core” to prevent entire pc freeze, but the issue still happened. Yeah it didnt freeze the pc but still crashed.
But recently found out that turning off “Engine Multithreading” in the graphics setting fixed all my crash issues. The game loses alot of frames, but rather lose frames then have it crash. I do have a 7800x3D that uses the 3D V-Cache, idk if thats the reason in-game multithreading is freezing my pc or not, but so far after ~10 hours of playtime, zero crashes
