So much crying but also providing 0 data

It's not my job to provide data. I don't have access to the data GGG has.
I can only provide my own findings.

Also if you wanna use Microsoft's Confirmed Known Issues with 24H2 then PoE 2 isn't listed there so I guess it's not 24H2 problem after all.
Also multiple Assasin's Creed games aren't different from technical standpoint cos their probably all using the same engine with same problems.

I also provided that I have the issue on one monitor and not the other?
How is this a 24H2 issue then?

My experience taught me that people who cry most about Windows 11 updates are people who are using Windows 10 :P

? what the hell are you talking about.idk where your microsoft rant comes from. i didn't wrote anything about 24H2 or microsoft.

I said provide some Data so GGG can narrow it down. maybe here a Example what a good start is.

(disclamer i don't have the problem so don't include my specs)

Windows 11 Pro
23H2 Build 22631.4460

Intel i5 13600k
Gigabyte Z690 Gaming x DDR4, BIOS F24a
Zotac Nvidia RTX 4070 Super - GPU Driver 560.94
Corsair DDR4 32GB(2x16) 3600 MT's

also a dxdiag could be helpful and i'm pretty sure somewhere GGG mention where to upload these files and here a link how to get the information https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/articles/000022556/graphics.html

also ingame setting's can be helpful and maybe a exact crash explanation when it happens, what you did when it happens, is it random or on specific stuff and so on.

Sure if you don't want to provide anything ok. but stop expecting a fix or at least stop clocking the system with random post's that makes their job harder to find these informations.

ps. Cpu-z is a good tool to see all the information and for windows under setting-> about

Having the same issue here, occasional full freeze and having to hard power down to reboot!

Never in 30+ years of PC gaming have I had a game fully lock up like this game does.

NEEDS FIXING ASAP!!!!!
Not saying its not an issue with a windows update but as far as I know this doesn't affect other games.

Is also related to overclocking to a degree at least when i tested more with different overclocking setting

I don't manually overclock anything
I have a CPU undervolt on my 5800x3D but as I said I play PoE2 with no issue 200-230 fps on my 1080p monitor

The 1440p gameplay puts less strain on the CPU and more on the GPU indicating the problem lies somewhere within the gpu/monitor drivers and poe 2 config

Yea is mostly an engine coding problem not really related to people hardware as you can see so many people having the same problem with many different setups but some setting can help overcome the problem but it doesn't erase it.
bump.
its ridiculous they didnt fix it yet
The game has multiple problems:

1. If I enable all Cores to run this game, as I would any other game, my whole PC will crash right after I pick my character to start the game. I get a Windows Kernel-Power error #41 at the time of crash in the Windows Event Viewer log. That's CPU overload by the game. Using "waitforpreload" or "noasync" doesn't help.

2. If I disable HALF my CPU cores JUST for POE2, the game will run fine for an hour or two, but at some point when I go to load into a different zone or go back to a busy town, it'll crash my whole PC anyway - but those errors look like "zero-scaled vertex errors" and "texture load errors" when loading certain game models, like monsters or or MTX effects, according to the Client.txt log in the POE2 log file folder. I had one error where a flask effect wasn't loading. I didn't have that effect myself, so it looks like OTHER player's MTX effects can crash your system if you don't already have the effects cached and the game can't pull it down off the servers fast enough to keep up with the current action. A lot of my crashes happen with other players in my game, so I try to just play solo for the most part for now.

3. I was also getting non-stop DirectX 12 errors, but switching to Vulkan got rid of all those.

---So there's workload issues, texture load issues, game server issues... you name it!

GGG has a lot of work to do.

NOTE: and yes, I'm running on Windows 23H2. Never had 24H2 installed.
Windows 11 24H2 (Steam), AMD 5800X3D, RTX 4070 Ti Super 16GB, 32BG DDR4 3200, Samsung 980 Pro SSD

They did not check dxdiags they were sent. People reported that their files at cloud/drive were not accessed.

You also cannot send them DMs if you are a new player.

Their response to this "bug" suggests that GGG knew about this issue and hoped that they could make it go away. Their prime tactic was to put "mostly 24H2" deflection on the Known Issues post. They just did not expect this many people would cooperate and manage to pin this issue to PoE2.

Streamers became suddenly silent about this issue as well. There are some very popular streamers who are experiencing this issue yet they are silent now.

Many other streamers who marketed themselves as "honest" or "on gamer's side" are also suspiciously silent. A certain bald Texan, and the long haired ginger bro included.

We know that infamous 24H2 bug is different than this one.

We also provided decent workarounds.

One particular person managed to create a program to avoid crashes. IF you mention this person by name, GGG Support edits his name out of your post. They cannot send a single post about the actual bug and clear the air/resentment but they can pull 1984 stuff like this.

Furthermore, I ask anyone who sees this message to please give a negative review for Path of Exile 2 on Steam.
I cannot send/reply to direct messages because my in-game character has not finished Act 1.
What to do:
1)Write a short review about the hard crashes in notepad.
2)Copy and paste it to steam reviews, put up a negative review.
3)Copy and paste it to steam discussions, put it up there.
Also getting this issue.
PC randomly crashes after afking for a while, has happened twice now.

Specs:

Windows 10
AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D (No Overclocking)
AMD Radeon RX 7900 XTX (No Overclocking)
32GB DDR5 6000Mhz (No Overclocking)
Installed on a 1TB WDBlue M.2 Drive

The game is running at 4k, everything maxed.

It's not an overheating issue, and my PC does not suffer playing any other game, even intensive games.

Not sure where to check for crash logs, checked event viewer in Windows but there's nothing around the time it crashed.
