I have never felt less rewarded for my time in a game.

You get free heating in your house with the CPU glowing red, what more could you want during winter time?

Just one thing, if you play on maps, almost 30% of rares will drop you an exalt.
Saying you only dropped 10 is bullshit.

You can drop more than 10 only on the campaign.
You lying dude.

So if he is unlucky he becomes a liar because he didn't have the same experience as you?
30% of rares drop an exalt, lmao sure. maybe there is a hidden boost if you used you know what considering this is a tencent game, but other than that 30% of rares drop exalted orbs is jus a plain bs statement. They are not rare ok they do drop but that's about it...

Apart from the fact that trading is a recipe for gettign tired of the game faster, the difference between trade and SSF in PoE 2 is a literal night and day. Playing PoE 1 in trade or SSF was a very different experience, as it should be obviously, but in PoE 2 it's like two different games entirely. Devs want to make a game around scarcity, which you obviously feel in the campaign at first, but once you can buy upgrades from the trade site it's like bypassing SO much it almost feels like a completely broken experience. I have no idea how they will enforce this vision in trade, I think it is impossible, when loot is this rare you just force every player to stop caring about everything they find except currency orbs to trade for upgrades, and guess what, this is exactly how players felt in PoE 1 with their uber strict loot filters.

Playing trade feels pointless in this EA, playing SSF feels like it's almost impossible to progress because you're locked behind the gamble called crafting. They will need to find a way to bridge that gap or make a choice, because else it will tear apart their game. I can't see a solution to fix trade honestly, most PoE trade players have grown the habit of only caring about getting rich in game to eventually craft some insane gear, and now GGG basically took away that goal of many players with applying their ruthless vision in every aspect of the game, I wish them the best of luck trying to find a middle ground without completely polarizing the playerbase before it's too late.

All of this is pretty much how I feel about current state of trading and crafting.

I'm not paying these insane prices, nor can I in all honesty.

Crafting is quite boring and restrictive in current form.
Maybe I'm just unlucky, but the loot that drops is very rarely usable/useful to my build. High level crafting materials like exalts don't drop very often. I'd at least like to be able to craft something decent since decent gear doesn't drop. It's very frustrating despite juicing T10-15 maps. I could care less about the economy of the game - they have to increase the drop rates on everything across the board. This is beyond ridiculous.
It is really very difficult to get an upgrade for your character from crafting or farming.

But your items could be easily sold to other players. Real issue here is obnoxiously difficult trading system, thats not even in the game.

Check out this post for possible solution!

99% will quit before they even get third unless they fix the system lol
+1

The game is currently just pure unfun: it's not hard, it just simply cheats 1 shot cheap shots.

Look at the range on this 1 shot boss death. Everything dead, no pressure, instant 0hp death:

And yes, that item is unironically better than almost any Unique because the drop rates are so low. Of course the game pulls a 1-shot when it drops, not doing so might reward the player, which is against the PoE2 design ethos.

Yeah. The game absolutely does not respect your time in its current form. Enemy HP needs to be slashed massively.
