ONE DEATH PER MAP HAS TO GO

No, the game will die if left in this state.
One portal feels so bad.

1. Losing a waystone sucks.
2. It ruins multiplayer. If one player dies, they may have to wait 10 minutes for the others to finish the map.
3. I play softcore because I don't want to need to play perfect. It feels like pseudo-hardcore is being forced on me and makes the game less fun for softcore players.
One death per map, is ggg way to get rid off the inflation of maps at the end game. Secondly, you have to spend more time to finish all the content and this is something that ggg wants.

+1
The one death per map is goin to be "ok" for me. I mean "ok", i'm not fan but i will still play this game because everything is amazing.

But what i really hate actually, it's the maps or bosses you need to farm a lot to make it. I spend more than 200 maps to find one citadel, and then, i died on the boss. Fine.

I still need to find 3 more differents citadels, not to die, and then ( in 2027 maybe ), i will finally go to the Burning Monolith, and be one shoted by the boss because i don't know how to manage with him. And then start again from zero.

There is no sens about that. This is a tons of waste of time, and unpleasant playing time. Really.

You're welcome. Glad I could fix that skill issue you were experiencing.

Lost every single map I had, white, blue, yellow's, because I died in them.

Are you able to reflect and verbalize WHY you died? That's the first step to improve and do better next time. I'm not trying to patronize but rather help. People just forget to pay attention, don't understand what happened, don't learn, thus can't improve, and get frustrated.

Oh yea, I know exactly why I died. My character either got hit by the load of one shot after death mechanics, got 1 tapped by something that I couldn't dodge roll out of the way of. OR one particular circumstance, cleared the area around a "lever", started the animation for moving the lever, and a roaming pack came up while in the middle of the 5 freaking second lever animation and killed me while I coudln't move (couldn't dodge roll, couldn't attack, wouldn't cancel) it was stupid.

I'm NOT good with the dodge roll mechanics, my reflexes aren't quick enough anymore. MAYBE they would have been 25 years ago in my prime and younger years, lol but at my age, the Input Lag, is just too great for me to reliably dodge all the 1 shot mechanics this game throws at you. Especially since its balanced around you being able to basically perfectly dodge roll away from anything ever touching you.

I didn't realize they were deleting characters if you died in a map... oh wait, they aren't. There is nothing even partially hardcore about the current mapping system.

You fail, you lose the bonuses and try again. You used your entry token, so you need to provide another one to try again. That's it. Nothing even remotely close to deleting your character and forcing you to start the entire game over.

Wrong. People will die a few times, get frustrated with this horrible game design that disrespects their time and simply quit.
