I have played online gameing since the good old d1 days.......never ever used RMT and this is the first time EVER i get a breach on any online acc i have.

So must be RMT right not a security issue from GGGs side right?

Same here... if people can't see something being wrong with so many people who have played since inception of GGG (2012/2013/...) getting compromised and shit stolen. If this wouldn't be widespread there wouldn't be 15 pages on this thread along with many other people reporting same thing.

1) it may affect only poe2, mean poe1 players may be safe
2) we don't know how exactly the hacker chooses the victim. Probably people with mirrors have already been hacked, but haven't written on the forum (after all, why would they need it? its doesnt affect anything, they cant take back their items and all this thread is just about how well does ggg support work)

pretty sure GGG has a trade history and can easily validate that i never had an outgoing trade for over 1 div. i simply got lucky and dropped a mirror in a solo t2 tower map. thankfully i didnt farm hard for it, otherwise i already would have uninstalled the game. would be nice to keep the ragebait people out of this thread.

the hacker that sold my stuff has now restocked his sales listings to 774 items, another reported account is sitting on 60 items (starting at 15div). new items are still being added daily, so they are still active and new victims will keep flooding in.

Hacked last night. Lost all valuable gear and currency. GG POE2.

Well they didn't take my mageblood or anything from Settlers league when they took my POE2 items so... maybe you're right, or maybe Settlers league stuff is worthless now.

Please respect the effort and time we’ve invested into our accounts to legitimately earn our items and currency. Just because someone has achieved a level of wealth or success in-game doesn’t mean it’s suspicious or illegitimate. Let’s avoid jumping to conclusions and instead focus on the issue at hand without discrediting others’ hard work.

I got hacked today too.

They stole ~150div in stash and all my gear (even jewels) on the monk.
They didn't even bother checking my sales stash where theres propably still around 50-70div worth of gear in it.

My second character (Level 92) is untouched.


I played today for 5h and didnt have single trade the whole day. Only thing i did "public" was to go in town for some ring gambling at Alva in town

- My standalone account is locked since release, because I don't have access to the mailadress I created the poe account on years ago. (This mail is not compromised, only deactivated because of inactivity (more than 10 years by now) and i couldnt recover it because i used fake information as a kid back then)
I even have a support ticket open to change the mailadress since 3 weeks..

- I play the game via Steam and I use the tradesite etc. with Steam-login.

I stopped using PoE Overlay from Overwolf 4-5 days ago when i read about the wiped/hacked characters in reddit

oh btw i only redeemed early access for steam so they couldnt login from standalone
