Account locked due to mass reporting

the higher global chats are very social and they have been known to do this just to let people into the channel or get rid of people they don't like.

A group of people was discussing about reporting somebody else (which I wasn't a part of). 2. Another unrelated person tried to ask for a price on an item. 3. I jokingly answered they could sell it to me for 1 thai baht. 4. The group that was discussing earlier mocked then reported me because it's funny or something. The log shows you were muted 54 seconds after making the comment and locked 12 seconds after the mute. The delays between the 3 events make me suspect it was multiple people reporting you rather than a fully automatic system. Hopefully the disconnect between the value of an Ingenuity belt (even with a bad roll) and the value of 1 bhat (about $0.03 US) will be enough to convince the human who looks at your appeal in a few months that your comment was just a very ill advised joke. That is the most bullshit thing I've ever encountered.
The system just autobans you from a few reports. A group of friends could coordinate reports to ban anybody they want. And yes, it was a coordinated mass reporting. The people in chat even said so themselves! Paid 700 baht just to get my money stolen for a "i'll buy it form you for 1 bux" joke is so scammy, I might issue a chargeback on my credit card. People in the chat were discussing about reports and banning, then just moments after that they announced that they mass reported me.

When I was locked out of my account, it told me the specific comment I'd made in Global that was the cause. I assumed it was some moderator playing god, but I didn't think about mass reports. Either one would be ridiculous for triggering account Lockouts; let alone mine, which is 168 hours, for answering a question with an objective fact.

I think there is indeed an automated system that just automatically bans you based on the number of reports you received.

This is worse than a ban from gameplay. This is a complete lockout from accessing your account. I have an extra license I can't access because I'm not just banned from chat or playing the game, I can't even log in the website. Over something I said in chat. Which also happens to be an objective fact.
