PoE 2 Latency Spikes?

Same Problem, started since patch 0.1.1. . Game is sadly unplayable now.
Server: Frankfurt(EU)

I really looked forward to the latest patch and till this evening it was awesome. but now ... its unplayable ... so I'm going to spend my gaming Friday on something else than PoE 2 :(

Can u maybe fix your servers after 2 month and 50% playerbase? I mean u made a fuckton of money and got a shotload of new players. Maybe its a good idea to start scaling your server 2 month into a lunch.

Cant be that hard to rent more. best wishes im disappointed

Been 3 weeks of ms spiking every single night and sometimes during the day my connection is good i have 0 issues in any other game pls just fkng fix ur servers

The problem is not with GGG, but with the weak infrastructure in Germany and their clogged servers on the node. The problem is probably mainly with players from Central Europe, whose path to EU servers goes through congested servers in Germany anyway, so changing the gateway won't help. Although I don't know why GGG decided that the area east of Germany to Moscow is a desert and they can ignore the players, making 5 gates in Western Europe and none in Central Europe. The problem would be solved by moving the gateway, from Amsterdam to Hungary or Slovakia

after the latest patch I can't play at all. ping flies over 1000. I even tried to play through VPN and if before it helped, now it doesn't. I think it's GGG servers lagging

Just use some ping test, and check where the pings are normal. From what I see, most of the problems are in Frankfurt, just like mine. Changing the server doesn't help because it's from Southern Poland, probably also from the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania and Germany itself. The connection to Western Europe for these countries goes through an internet node in Southern Germany, where the pings are high due to the traffic. If GGG didn't treat Central Europe as second-class players, a large part of people wouldn't have lags connecting to the gateway in Hungary

Please fix this asap because i've paid 30 euros to play de early access, not to see how others play it, and it's been 1 week since this problem started for me.

Do you understand what I wrote? The only thing they can do is move the gateway, they probably have no influence on the infrastructure in Germany and that access points are blocked by traffic and high ping. The way they have placed the gateways for Europe is terribly racist, as if other countries apart from Germany, France, Holland and Great Britain did not exist... Looking at the map and how the servers are placed, no matter how I look at it, I do not understand why they are placed like that. You have three options, accept that you are a second-class player, the second option is to buy a VPN and change the connection path bypassing Frankfurt, or connect to Moscow and have pings of 150 ms. The third option is to quit your job/go on vacation and play before the evening hours :)
