I feel like it's definitely not my system, I've got an ethernet connection, I've run ping tests and speed tests, got 800Mbps/500Mbps and then running ping test, it's sits at around 26ms to google.com and then ping is fine in all other games. " hey so we were having the same issue with latency spiking randomly causing the game to lag. Saw someone mention about changing the wifi settings and heres what we did: we went into 1. Device manager 2. Device properties on the WiFI card eg Intel Wi-Fi 6 3. then advanced tab, 4. then under property select the 802.11a/b/g Wireless Mode 5. Then we changed that from Dual band a/b/g to just 5GHz 802.11a (which was at the top) 6. Click ok and start the game its working perfectly now for us! woo hoo This worked out for me, but I still get occasional lag spikes. It just lags for a second or two, then it's fine— no more freezing. I do have to wonder how that setting change will effect my other games... but I suppose I can just change it as needed.
