Remove Rarity, and revert the droprates to before balancing it around Rarity

GGG unlearned every lesson about Quantity from PoE 1 for PoE 2.

You keep making new threads about the same topic and then everytime someone asks you to provide facts about where you learned that the game was balanced around having rarity you just stop responding and make a new thread.

Can you please for once provide any evidence, facts or references to where you learned that the game is balanced around having rarity? Especially since the devs litterally yesterday confirmed that it was working "as intended".

Maybe that way you will spare us of having to see you making a new thread every 15mins

The map mods are far more impactful. I was getting ~5ex per map with 200 rarity on my character before I started properly using towers and the atlas passive tree to really boost maps.

Now that I have atlas nodes boosted by 90+% quantity and only run maps with quantity and rare mobs, now I get at least 3x that per map. Removing the rarity from items your character equips isn't going to change this. Instead of 20 ex per map you'll get 10-15.

Which means if you're still running your character with no rarity and not juicing maps and getting 1-2 ex per map you're still going to fall behind.

Juice your maps and towers properly and you basically don't need rarity on your character (or at least, don't need more than 100 or so).

The "as intended" is balanced around Rarity.

The evidence I can provide is empirical.
Farm with 0 Rarity for 2 hours, then with 100 Rarity, and tell me what you think feels like the intended experience.

I should have clarified that my primary focus was campaign, mb.

That is not how evidence works. That would be evidence of nothing.
My experience on farming gear is irrelevant as to where you learned that the game was balanced around having rarity.

Also my experience would be the opposite of what your suggesting.
Ive geared up two characters with no rarity at all.

By trading, I assume?

And here just more of the same, just like in all of your posts.
Yet again changing the subject instead of actually arguing the point.

You claim that the game is balanced around having rarity.
I ask you to provide evidence.
Your evidence is that its basicly impossible to gear up without rarity.
I tell you that ive done it twice, and so have countless others.

You now start talking about trading. Which is irrelevant.

1. Trading is part of the game
2. To trade you need to have something to trade with, usually currency. So if I need rarity to get currency, and i had no rarity then how did I get currency to trade with in the first place?
3. My second char is ssf

So the game is balanced around having rarity.
And your reasoning for this is that you cant gear up without rarity, except you can but you have to trade, which is part of the game. And also you dont because alot of people gear up in ssf. Your point is false and illogical.

Couldn't you argue that purchasing equipment with rarity mods is an investment? Equipment is balanced around the fact that they have six possible mods, I think that having a non-essential mod (it does not boost DPS or increase survivability) that is nice to have (and not even necessary to max out) is something that allows more sophisticated itemization.

You said empirical evidence is not evidence, I gave you a wiki page.
You said you geared up your characters with no rarity, I asked how.
