Really would like to see who is pleased with that last interview and the development.

If they 'stick to their guns' as they used to say - I'll be supporting them again. Still having a blast in EA - moved on to HC.

*This forum incentivizes bombastic/negative thread titles that are 'just slightly' ignorant/uninformed - that provokes everyone to reply and give them endless bumps and visibility. Wildly different that - for example reddit where you actually need upvotes for that kind of thing.

The vast majority of people that approve and are playing the game and wont be commenting on this forum. the crabapples however, have endless time.

I think GGG plays a little bit of good dungeon master/bad dungeon master - the secret truth is the bad one is by FAR the most fun, but you need a little suspension of disbelief or some way to accept it. the more they are silent the better IMO - the BEST dungeon masters do not give away their motives.

Man I do wish these forums would be updated. Because you're spot on, threads that get downvoted and ignored on reddit get responses and pushed to the top here. Not that reddit is a pinnacle of content either but damn forums are archaic lmao.
Reddit is a festering shithole that has no point whatsoever. It determines not what is good or useful to read, but only what is popular. This particular board, 'Early Access Feedback', moves too swiftly to be useful, to be sure. But trusting Reddit for literally anything is infinitely worse.

But that's literally the opposite of what they did.
yeah so happy , it went so well , that now mods have to delete entire threads with 100's of replies and 1000'of views .

it went so well that i dont remember this forum getting this angry since it existed XD.

until now people had arguments and were unhappy , now if they could they would throw objects at each other.

what is the point of them saying 'we dont know' for 2 hours?
if they were not ready, just put out the patch , and go live when you are ready .

That is not remotely true.

If your recent post history is anything to judge by, the sole singular overriding issue you care about in PoE2 is the Rarity stat and its effect on currency, and the ONLY possible answer is to erase Rarity completely and buff currency drop rates by a factor of ten billion. Literally any other course would be Completely Unacceptable to you, because you saw one video from one streamer talking about some backyard science they did on the numbers and that became The One Sole Immutable Truth of The Matter to you.

Frankly, this is exactly what I meant when I said that the devs are taking complaints seriously but ignoring the player's solutions. The player complaint is "Rarity feels like a mandatory stat". the correct response is not to simply accept what a tiny handful of extremely vocal yaybos scream about the problem as gospel and do exactly what the yaybos say to do, it's to examine the complaint and ascertain "why?"

Why does Rarity feel like a 'Mandatory stat' to The Community? Does rarity feel 'Mandatory' to the community as a whole, or only to a small minority of dedicated Streamer Memer groupies who have ridiculously overinflated ideas of what qualifies as 'appropriate drops'? What does The Community think Rarity is giving them that they cannot live without, are they actually correct about Rarity giving that thing, and is there a real reason players are feeling pinched without Rarity?

Answering the question of 'why' must come before a solution. Occasionally - very rarely, in my experience - the solution the devs arrive at to fix the player complaint resembles common proposed player solutions. This is a bug, not a feature, and should never be taken as confirmation that players were 'right'.

Players are always right when they say something feels off and their experience is bad. They are never right when they say why that is or what would fix it.
A lot of it is endgame stuff is being addressed since they feel campaign probably in an ok spot. It's still an EA and probably 6-12 months away on release. Hard to tell what it will look like but just be happy to be the beta tester. Hard to hold judgement but I don't enjoy the endgame grind just due to the bad drops/unlucky drops and interacting with trade.
Right now the enjoyment is making new characters and trying something new for the experience.
the dev acknowledge a lot of issue , happy for armor and warrior :)

sure not everything will be fix in 1 patch this just make any sense and are way to much work for 1 patch .

the game already have 2 good patch in 40 day of EA . other game dont have this ,

i feel bad complaining , he just have to be a bit patient

poe2 is just the best arpg on the market and the best is to come with the official release

play my first rpg on the intellivision :)

Fairly happy.

I'm glad they are focusing on frustration stuff.

The only disappointment is they didn't talk about frustration with trials.

The green (quest) ones are ok because you can just repeat them until your luck is better.

Set 3 and 4 is ridiculous in it's current state. By the time a character is powerful enough to do them the game is already over so it's pointless.
