Loot filter not functioning
completely reinstalling the game and reinstalling the filters helped me.

Tried the steps that GGG put out but nothing works.

Logging into POE 1 and changing
The filter there worked |
|
1. If you have played Poe1 before you will need to login to the game once and apply a loot filter.
2. Go into PS5 Safemode and clear your cache. 3. If those don't work reinstall the game. 4. Log back into Poe2 & reapply the loot filter you want to use. For the people still having trouble. |

^^ COMPLETELY IGNORE THIS PERSON ABOVE, THAT IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST, WRONG ADVICE
" THANK YOU!!!! I applied my filter through this website despite my account not showing linked *still*, but it wouldn't load in game even after fully closing and restarting the app, but that apparently didn't count -- what. the. f. SONY. you freaking man-baby coders. good to know the only "real way" to restart an app is to open an entirely different game in-between. Making us all think we're freaking losing our minds. I was also getting really upset that this website *still* doesn't recognize that I have POE2 early access. Despite my login only existing through linking PSN account, it still just shows my POE1 acct on PSN. Cool. I don't know where that miscommunication is coming from btw (I'd bet $1000 it's entirely Sony's fault), but that shit really needs fixed cause it's f*ing ridiculous. But no, unlike the person who posted right above me, I *have* played POE1, and no I didn't have to re-install it, play it, re-install poe2, none of that bs. Literally just follow the loot filter on your account on the website here, then do what the quote at the top says. Pls ignore post above mine. They probably work for Sony. Still not working
1. Tried entering another game and then back to POE2 multiple times. Tried unfollow/follow, copy filters from website. None worked 2. Tried loading filter during character select. Was not present there. Only present in game ? Not sure why that is 3. I saw a comment above requiring logging into POE1 if you had it previously. I had POE1 installed previously. Do I really need to install POE1 and get loot filter working just to get POE2 working ? Is this confirmed ? Seems not quite right. Anyone else who played both POE1 and POE2 who didn't need to have to load filters in POE1 - would love your takes. Right now I'm going through the steps of deleting and reinstalling the game. I sincerely hope this works, since this is the #1 thing I've been waiting on for GGG to address. My Rates (as of 9/14/2014) are:

it works for me tho. Using it from filterblade.xyz

I have some useful observations to note (I think):
1. Console PS5 2. Could not get filters to load at all. Was trying NeverSink Semi-strict. Would never show up in my filter list in game no matter how many app-restarts. Still does not show up now. 3. Decided to try NeverSink Regular. Showed up in my list, selected and saved settings, made no change. 4. Restarted app, made no change......got appropriately pissed off. 5. Read some posts about multiple reloads. Did that (3 times), FINALLY WORKED! Notes: A. NeverSink Semi-strict never loaded, still does not right now, via the standard procedure to find a filter on the pathofexile.com website, filter by POE2, and hit the "follow" button. B. I bothered to try adding from Filterblade.xyz. From there I linked my account, loaded NeverSink Semi-strict, and clicked the "Export to POE" button. THIS WORKED, however I still had to do a game reload to take effect. Sub Notes: X. I also added via "follow" on the POE2 site, several other filers. None of them show up; only NeverSink Regular has ever showed up with that process. Y. I was able to get several to show up via loading from Filterblade. My testing is limited to 3 but seems to work reliably albeit with a couple app reloads. Z. Still, the only filter I've been able to successfully show up, in-game, in my filter list, via the "follow' option on the website, is the NeverSink Regular. BUG NOTE? I Noticed when adding filters to my "account" after linking my PS account, that I could switch accounts between POE account and PS5 account via the top-bar. Though they are linked in my profile, I can add filters to them separately by changing accounts. I feel like this could be causing a lot of console players frustration if they are following filters on the website but not selecting the PS account. This does not explain why, even with my PS account selected, I've only ever been able to get NeverSink Regular to show up via the instructed follow-process. I RECOMMEND ANYONE LOOKING TO GET THE QUICKEST FILTERING ON PS5, GO TO THE POE2 FILTER SITE (link below), LINK YOUR ACCOUNT, AND FOLLOW NEVERSINK REGULAR. THEN RELOAD THE APP A FEW TIMES (LOAD A DIFFERENT APP AND BACK TO POE2). IT SHOULD SHOW UP IN YOUR SETTINGS QUICKLY, BUT TAKE 2-3 APP RELOADS TO TAKE EFFECT. USE LOWER TIER WAYSTONES WHILE FIGURING OUT IF IT'S WORKING OR NOT. Good luck out there! https://www.pathofexile.com/item-filter/ladder/follower/type/PoE2 Last edited by eMBeee-e#4031 on Jan 17, 2025, 1:26:19 AM

" Well no. These steps were the only thing that helped myself. I tried what you quoted, per an earlier suggestion and it didn't work for me. However, I'm glad it worked for you. I don't work in the game industry, bud. lol (Y) |

" Same here, worked on first attempt! Weeee! :) |
