I started playing poe back in Heist league. I fell in love with it for the same reason I fell in love with Diablo 1 and 2 years prior, replayablitly. Never really knowing what loot might drop at any given moment.
What I love more about poe than Diablo is the wide range of mechanics to choose from. For me, I love Heist and Ritual. Others may hate those two mechanics, thats fine, play Delve and Expedition if you want. Or make separate atlas skill trees so you can play whatever content you feel like that day. Some mechanics are more popular than others but rest assured there are a couple that any new player will find fun. |

I love pretending poe1 has any sort of engaging gameplay.
I love the heavy trade focus even though trade is ruined by external forces and terrible trading mechanics after 1 week every league. | |

Probably crafting a mirror tier quiver in SSF around 3.19. Took like 2 weeks but it was the first time I had planned out a 6 affix item and crafted it from white to a yolo hunter's exalted orb to hit T1 fire multi.

I hate I ever liked it. I hate I made it past the website. I wish I were like the entire rest of 99.9% of the gaming spectrum that does not give a shit and are oblivious about poe/poe2.

Hmm i just list my top5.
1. Theory Crafting with incredible build diversity. 2. League-Style with gametimepeaks every 3-4 months. 3. Skill-Gem-System 4. Chose-what-you-want-to-play-endgame 5. The everlasting improvement with new metas from time to time. I especially dont understand why they "gimped" 1+3 in Poe2. Especially 3 is what made Poe1 so special. Its just such a genious system.
