Will the TOS be enforced on everyone that breaks them?

Will there be bans for people who break the TOS, even if they are celebrities, streamers and billionaires?

Just asking, because it seems at least 2 people who clearly broke the TOS and even admitted it are still having an account.

I've been avoiding this topic, but this situation is really bad if it's allowed. I don't care what people do, but any company would ban a non-famous person immediately for doing what these people are doing while still having accounts. RMT and account sharing don't bother me since I play the game like it's single-player. What bothers me is when rules in the Terms of Service or Code of Conduct are broken without any action taken.

Another thing bothering me is people being muted in global for bullshit that doesn't deserve it while others run rampant with some really dumb shit that deserves a ban..

Rights: Unless otherwise stated in these Terms of Use, Grinding Gear Games is the owner or licensee of all rights including all copyright, trade marks and other intellectual property rights relating to or included within the Website, Materials and Services ("Rights"). For the avoidance of doubt, and to the greatest extent permitted at law, the Rights include without limitation all rights in respect of all graphics, logos, text, images and all other elements included in and deriving from the gameplay and virtual world featured in PoE, including without limitation in-game names, characters, locations and any virtual items ("Virtual Items") and their associated benefits or properties acquired or provided for use within PoE.

Their ToS does not seem to be asserting any expansive rights beyond the areas specified in the ToS.
You might have to find the line specifically asserting "(no matter if they are ) celebrities, streamers and billionaires" in ToS, if you think ToS must be enforced as it be.

In a strict sense, you are demonstrating the case where your account should be restricted and that you are doing such intentionally (which is not the intention of their ToS as far as I read.)

Edit
I think reservation of rights shall not be deemed a waiver of rights. Otherwise, we would have to justify everything we do and risk being criticized for not doing so.

How did you read this part ?

I think reservation of rights shall not be deemed a waiver of rights. Otherwise, we would have to justify everything we do/we don't do and risk being criticized for doing/not doing so.

If they don't give the full access to their own property where they claim it is, there should be something dirty they are hiding ?

Edit
What you share is up to the other person to interpret.
You can change it later without them noticing, but it's still a matter of trust sharing, and it's up to the other person.

They need to ban him. Why ban anyone if you allow billionaires to get away with it.
It looks like GGG has created yet another highly addictive roguelike game. SAVAGE! :D

They can always say they left him do that to promote their product...

They admitted they paid streamers to promote products in the past and even gave them preferential queues so that they do not waste money while we plebeians were looking at the queue for hours.

Also the billionaire never said he did what you say...Now there is of course, what we saw, what we think, what everyone things, but that doesn't mean he paid someone or that he RMTed a service or anything like that.

So until proven guilty this is all supposition, even if it seems upfront true, it is still supposition until proven otherwise by GGG ( which won't happen)

But I do agree that they should at least give a look on this and determine if the claims are right. They banned Math for things he said on stream but they cannot enforce it on billionaires ? But I do not think they will do that, rich people get away with almost anything lately this days and if they cannot go away they get a small slap on the wrist, while everyone else abides by rules...A tale as old as time.

In my 20s, usually ignore people with power and wealth, and consequences are usually not optimistic. Now in my late 40s, has collection of battle scars, become toned down and modest.

Unless GGG has very strong backings, or else they are unlikely to take any risk.
