Seller reliability status in Trade2 website

Since we can only dream about Auction House, at least GGG team can add some features showing Seller reliability and status in Trade2 website.

The idea is to show how many trades a Seller has done, and the frequency of the Seller response time in general.

This is to differentiate between actual real seller who genuinely just want to sell their items when they are in game against bots, or those who are AFK and not sending or declining invites.

- Add total sold items of Seller as information for Buyers

- Add total or frequency response time as information for Buyers

- Put all items of AFK users at the bottom of search results. Only show on the top players that are online and currently playing in game

- Since most players are purchasing currency TAB, add an option or a button for buyers to purchase items directly without any interaction from the seller. The system would drill into Currency tab, take the currency by informing the buyer that a currency will be taken to complete the transaction, add information for seller that item has sold for the selected currency, put the item directly into buyer's stash.

- If the system does not see any currency tab in seller's game, then make the "buy" button greyed out for buyers in order for them to proceed with sending Whispers.

- Add Postive & Negative rating into the trading system. Very often I am being whispered that someone wants to buy an item, I stop running on maps, going to hideout, inviting the player and then the player is declning my invitation. I am sure many people have experienced this already wasting our time and giving us false hope that the item will be sold. In this case, we should add a negative rating to the player which also will be shown for the Seller in the future.

The trading website needs an overhaul at least for it to be friendly for sellers and buyers.

I have sold many items through trade website but I do not see that reflected for potential buyers to know that we are reliable sellers and not scammers.

PS: Bots and scammers are not sending spam whispers by crawling through the trading website. its annoying to receive a private spam messages in game.

It's more likely they make ingame trade than implement all this that won't change anything.

But they won't make ingame trades so if Trade2 website is here to stay things must be changed to lower the frustrations of sellers and buyers.

Maybe then you can provide your suggestions instead of only saying "nothing will change". I would like to hear/read your suggestions how to resolve current issues with current trading system

Saying that nothing will change is equal to saying "lets leave the current broken trade system as it is" rofl.

Either we are willing to change something to make things better or not. There is no such thing as "nothing will change" Change starts from the source. GGG need to consider changing or improving trade system. There will be no change without any actions

2. people list item for 4d, then when i msg, he says "5d". when i scold them, they report me lol.

Just right now while Im playing, someone pressed the whisper button to buy an unique item from my stash, I open a TP to my hideout, send an invite to party to the buyer, turns out the guy is not even logged in game. Total nonsense and wasting time for sellers.

The average response time could be useful. But sometimes I go AFK (and take off my headphones to go somewhere) for a few minutes, the game still flags me as being active. I don't want to randomly get downvoted from walking away from my PC for a few minutes but not long enough for the status to change to AFK.

And what about the people on my ignored list (rude or spammy buyers who spam whispers and party invites)? If those people message me and I don't respond (because I won't see the messages), what then? I get negative ratings just like that?

The most annoying ones are the ones that accept the party invite, come to my hideout, start a trade, then cancel once they see the item, leave the party, and then leave my hideout without saying anything. Like, hello???

I understand that sometimes you read the item description wrong (corrupted vs non-corrupted for example) or whisper the wrong seller but at the very least say something when that happens. You're wasting my time so show some courtesy, damn it. I swear some people think of sellers as soulless NPCs or something.

I agreed that trading in PoE 1/2 is frustrating to the bone.

I do all I can to be civil and ethical

if I'm buying - I first separate the right resource asked, whisper, wait the party invite, teleport to hideout, check the item, pay the price and whisper a "Thx".

if I'm sellying - I invite the first to send a whisper, portal to my hideout, pick the purple highlighted item, wait the person, check the currency I asked, accept the trade and say a "Have a nice day!".

But, it is a hassle to do everytime. A quick interface like the Currency Exchange would be huge QoL, the item is there posted to be selled, someone asks for trade, you accept, the item is taken from your inventory and the currency is sent to you.

A simple interface to trade. The trade site could still be the place for search for the itens.

I agreed that trading in PoE 1/2 is frustrating to the bone.

i HATE it when people say tq/ thx / have a nice day. because then i need to read or alt tab only to see a tq.

Just say okay then don’t go trade. When people bump a price after they have it set lower just keep hitting the trade button on the new listings until they answer then don’t buy it.
