Seller reliability status in Trade2 website

I agreed that trading in PoE 1/2 is frustrating to the bone.

I do all I can to be civil and ethical

if I'm buying - I first separate the right resource asked, whisper, wait the party invite, teleport to hideout, check the item, pay the price and whisper a "Thx".

if I'm sellying - I invite the first to send a whisper, portal to my hideout, pick the purple highlighted item, wait the person, check the currency I asked, accept the trade and say a "Have a nice day!".

I am also following the same ethic as much as I can. But how long are we players gonna pull this and not being heard by GGG team? Current trading is painful for everyone. I am even surprised GGG team is not even acknowledging it.

I bet they never traded in game using trade website. Like how they cannot see what is happening

i HATE it when people say tq/ thx / have a nice day. because then i need to read or alt tab only to see a tq.

people should stop saying tq in trade.

You mean on the trade chat or via whisper? You hate people being polite?

Thats weird indeed xD. Me I like when people are being polite. At least you can see that you deal with a normal person.

i personally dislike polite people, find them more likely to be pretentious. i also find the language unnecessary. furthermore, a lot of 'polite' people ive come across have no regard for others.

which is very much why i got annoyed here in the first place, because one after another, "polite" people are listing items below market price, and then asking for more. aka trying to cut queue.

and ive already explained the main reason why people shouldn't add anything unnecessary after a trade. its because u'd alt tab and have to alt tab back just to see a tq instead of another trade.

The average response time could be useful. But sometimes I go AFK (and take off my headphones to go somewhere) for a few minutes, the game still flags me as being active. I don't want to randomly get downvoted from walking away from my PC for a few minutes but not long enough for the status to change to AFK.

Thats why if you are AFK, your items searched by players in trade website should be at the bottom of the results against the items of those who are currently Online and playing. I don't think this is unfair, like I want to buy something therefore I want to see the items of people who are currently online and available. Once you get back online then your searched items can be displayed at the top against those who are AFK at the bottom. This is fair and it should be like this.

And what about the people on my ignored list (rude or spammy buyers who spam whispers and party invites)? If those people message me and I don't respond (because I won't see the messages), what then? I get negative ratings just like that?

For me once I add people in my ignore list, I don't remove them. Most of players in my ignore lists are bots and spammers. I will never unblock them from my ignore list. The trade system website should not show any of your profile or items for users that are on your ignore list.
but you know, the biggest problem is the ignore list is so small.
i can fill my ignore list within a league.

But that is a personal choice. You choose to add people into your ignore list. If you want them to purchase your items, then remove them from your ignoring list?

Like I said before in my case, 99% players in my ignore list are scammers, spammers and bots. I don't put normal players in my ignore list. And once in my ignore list I never remove them because I don't really care about them. Without them I am still able to sell my items.

Weird take, but you do you.

I prefer being polite.
Why not. It's simple and would certainly help. Also those "AFK" Traders would be forced to be more active now, otherwise they won't sell much anymore.

Just add these 2 numbers (number of sales and responses within a certain time limit) and add options on the trade side to filter people with bad reliability completely out

Example of options on the trade site:

Number of Sales: Box where I can put in a number (for example 100, meaning this guy sold at least 100 items)

Response reliability: Box where I can put in a percentage number (for example 80%, meaning this guy replied at least 80% of buy requests).

Right? At least someone who understands the benefit 🙏🏽
