After a lack of updates in the first couple of months, my general dislike for PoE 2's design decisions, and Chris Wilson leaving, I uninstalled PoE 2 yesterday. I somewhat hoped that I'd see something that would have me reinstall in the coming weeks/months, but this is going in the opposite direction. The item design is horrible and releasing these as teasers seems ill-thought-out, especially amidst how split the community is about the state of the game.

I dont understand why these items always have to have a big tradeoff.
The tradeoff, the price you pay is aleeady inherent in that a unique item has more limited, situational uses, and/or has stats overall inferior to a gret rare item. The hammer would have been a very decent 2 hander in SSF to start mapping if you are particularly unlucky with crafting, only to be ruined by slower attack speed which is already a big problem on warrior. The helmet, I don't get it. Is it supposed to be a Giant's Blood option for non warriors? I hate how you are making uniques so situational and require so much investment. A good pool of just plain decent, useful weapons would greatly improve SSF and make SSF "rogue" style runs really fun. The way you design uniques, requires a lot of planning and investment and makes them more of an option for trade league where you can compltely match your items to given stats. |

The mace.... I like. I don't understand the tradeoff with attack speed either. That mace loses a lot of stats to give up speed.
The helmet. What a turd. Why would any melee not spend the one point in the tree to get the same effect. Why would you give up all chest stats? These legendaries are suppose to feel good. We don't need more trash items. |
